Authors basically say that whereas the top values expressed by TV shows for young viewers were once things like "Community Feeling" they're now things like "Fame."

Also a reference to another as yet unpublished study they say suggests parents don't have as much influence on their children as they used to.

Ya' think?

I tell you what, though: We took our niece with us on vacation this year. All the stuff on her Ipod was from this show called Glee. All week she talked about making sure to watch Glee come Thursday night (I think). So I made sure I had the time and channel located for her.

So we all sit down to watch it. Good GRIEF that was an awful show.
