Seriously dude...how long does the army need to beat a small podunk country...we won WW2 in 4 years, but can't beat a bunch of dirt farmers in 10? I blame that on civilian leadership for poor decisions and military leadership for not standing up to the decisions. I'm not saying revolt against the CIC and American people, but fokking A, retire....how can you send boys off to continually die for what you know is a BS plan? There's a special place in hell for the gutless military leaders who blindly follow poor civilian leadership....

I believe it's called the "Rules of Engagement". If we were able to carpet bomb Baghdad like we did Dresden, Berlin, Tokyo, or even do to it what what we did to Hiroshima. The war would have been over in 4 minutes.

Really? Some of our military got pink slipped due to (then Blackwater) type contractors? For every contractor sent over there one of our active duty guys got to go home? Heck, if that was the case and I was active duty over there, I'd be like, bring more of those contractors over here to take my place so I can go home!

The point is, we fought in Iraq and Afghanistan with both hands tied behind out backs because of bull shit stipulations and so-called "rules". If we are going to put our troops in harms way, we need to the use the full force of the military to get them in and out as quick as possible.
