Morrison withdrew the subpoena because he realized he wasn't going to get the information he wanted as the company didn't keep those records and that he had filed an unconstitutional subpoena. In Delaware, we still have no US Attorney. Waiting for Rip van Leahy to wake up and get the Judiciary Committee's azz in gear. The all-but-canonized expected choice is Charlie Oberly, former state AG and unsuccessful Donk Senate candidate.

And, come to think of it, we've been short one District Judge in Delaware for three years. You would've thought that Joe Biden and the two Dem Senators would've prodded Judiciary to fill it nine months ago, but no...

And I distinctly remember the neo-cons who were hailing the Patriot Act as the greatest document since the Constitution being warned that they might not think it was such great legislation when the opposing party came into power. Right now my biggest disappointments with this admin are: 1) moving too slow on getting away from mid-east oil and 2) failure to repeal the Patriot Act and deport everybody in Congress that voted for it to Zimbabwe.

He's also adept at changing his argument slightly to be "more correct" while in the middle of debate... this is an extremely effective tool... readjusting position from your original point of departure
