Namely, Dem politicians who have a track record of wanting so bad to get along and work with the current Republican Party in the hopes of compromise. Some of them unbelievably still think this possible with MAGA.

A former Republican op, familiar with legislating and political battles starts with agressive suggestions knowing it will be watered down through process. He recognizes the threat of MAGA holding on to power, corruption, and illegality. He also knows the tendency of the Dem establishment to avoid heavy confrontation in an attempt to play nice and compromise.

We’re far past the point where Trump, his DOJ, and ICE, will consider reasonable compromise. Just ask Canada. And congressional R’s have surrendered both balls to Trump’s pockets.
