Gold Bond powder green bottle is heavenly for the nutsack when you haven't showered in two weeks, as well.
I have never owned a vehicle that did not have a roll or two behind the back seat. So do all tractors/combines.

Fun fact. Just about every farmer I know keeps a roll or two in their tractors for use during planting/harvest season.
So THAT's why wheat grows so well in North Dakota.

I'd be like GannonFan.

Just hug my hubby, and hunker down.

Phoenix has like 4 roads that leave it, already jammed in normal times, complete and utter chaos.

I have enough food/medicine for a month. Have about 10 5 gallon water jugs we cycle through.

Of course, a nuke in St. Louis would qualify as urban renewal.

You live far enough from Luke AFB that you’d probably be OK anyways….head east into the White Mountains…

The problem would be getting there - It's either the Beeline Hwy or US 60 in that direction.

Scott AFB is just east of St Louis…home of Air Mobility Command, and U.S. Transportation Command…

It is the DoD hub/command node for all mobility assets (Air/Sea/Land) along with a KC-135 unit and other USAF mobility assets…

It’s something!!!

I'm way too tired and old to give a shit. If it happens, let me be in the blast zone. I have enough trouble getting up in the morning to get to the club to play golf. :grizo2:

I’m guessing there’s more than a good share of people who feel exactly like you, Hen. I’d rather wait, and go after I’ve expended my 8,000 rounds of ammo. :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

One good part of this discussion is that I realized I don't need a 308 rifle. If I'm stuck at home, everything I have is accurate to the end of the block!

Also keeps my ammo down to three very common calibers.

Common is key, SG. It’ll be the currency of the day. Hell, if you have 9mm, .45 and .38 and maybe .223 or .556 for the AR guys you’d be set. Even if you don’t own those weapons.

Fly fishing sling for me.

So TP, flypack, 4-piece 6 weight rod, and crawdad trap all just made the list.
Those are great ideas, klam. I believe I have some fish hooks in my bugout bag, but it's time to re-inventory and make some updates/changes.
Do they still make survial guns like the old .22/.410 over/unders?

I've fantasized these would thwart most certain doom if you had to evacuate. Does about 35 easily and gets 105 mpg. Can always stand up and walk over tricky shit. Get you down the highway a car won't take you.

Check this one out…Henry bought the rights a few years ago, and did magic upgrading/improving the original design…
