Where do we go to war next?

Post by ∞∞∞ »

I'm thinking a straightforward target like Nicaragua under the guise of freedom. Score some brownie points, funnel some money to defense contractors, get an easy win in our own hemisphere.

Other choices include Yemen or a dark horse like Belarus. Perhaps we send troops to liberate Crimea? What about Venezuela?

Of course we've still got the rest of the "Axis of Evil" to deal with: Iran and North Korea. Boring but obvious targets.

Does anyone know if some place in Africa needs freedom bombs dropped?

Also who gets us into the next one? Biden, Trump, Harris, DeSantis, Haley?

Discuss. :coffee:

ps. Civil War is also an option.

We haven’t been in a war since WWII.

Given the amount of equipment that is going to have to be be replaced (since we left it in Afghanistan) the defense contractors are ok for a couple years.

I’d say Harris….but we’re not touching Crimea with a 10-foot pole.

You're right.

Where do we go to "war" next?

It's our cultural identity to feed the MIDC. America has been at war 93% of the time – 222 Out of 239 Years – Since 1776, the U.S. has only been at peace for less than 20 years total since its birth.

It's long past time to serve as the world's police force, and time for the US to act like a developed nation. IMO

I’d like to go to war somewhere that has beer, pork, and nice Octobers. Our last few wars have had one or two of those things but never all in one package

Let’s go invade Germany again
