I'm not married to the middle as a concept, rather I like to pick and choose from the left and the right for the various things they get correct, while eschewing the things they get wrong. Technically, Colin “Who, me? WMD!” Powell was SOS when the Iraq War started. Albright probably did more damage at the U.N. (Somalia, Rwanda) than she did at State ( Bosnia, African embassy bombings).
