That one's from the Alaskan eradication program. :thumb: :thumb:

That's right a Palin rally. I knew I recognized it. Thanks

GRIZAHOLIC!!!

Where ever you are, remember my story about the rumors about shutting down our elk permits in N.W. Wyoming?

Here's the proof, from this mornings Casper Star Tribune-

Note the picture there? This is my area, my back yard, the location of my Hunting Retreat, and the main reason I insisted on returning here after college to attempt to make a living here.

I feel your pain G, I feel your pain.

Rest Y'all, back to lattes, wool socks, The Sierra Club, and recycled toilet paper.

Pilot peak on left, Index on right. Common landmarks along the Red Lodge to Cooke City Beartooth Highway, these points are barely on the Wyoming side of the Wyoming/Montana border.

I'm just lucky enough to see the point of Pilot peak from my kitchen table at the Mountain Hunting Retreat, but if you walk out across the back "yard" I get a little further view of the same angle shown in this Pic. This shot was taken along the Clark's Fork Of The Yellowstone River near the historic B-4 Ranch where Ernest Hemmingway once hunted elk.

My wife got several good shots of Pilot Peak as we drove down the Beartooth Hwy. into Cooke City, you are a lucky guy getting to live in such a beautiful area.

Our aerial wolf hunting program is motivated by economics, not biology. The goal is to increase caribou and moose populations in order to stimulate hunter tourism.

Shooting anything other than rag heads from an airplane is total crap.

Drop the chalupa and hike for christ's sake.

Leave our wolves the fvck alone.

"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."

Well, we would NEVER want to let mere ECONOMICS get in the way of feeling good about ourselves for an unbounded predator protection program, would we?

So, we should have no qualms about taxpayer-funded abortions of unwanted pregnancies by welfare-recipient mothers? Cool........

Yup! That's a quandary for me, and I hope for you, too, Appy.

Human babies are not wolves, but if your point is that we must consider the long term economic (and social) consequences of either funding or not funding abortions, along with the moral consequences, then I agree.
