I'll take substance, results, and honesty over fashion and appearance any day of the week.
Sometimes you can be so clueless.

Since 25% of the people who have a tattoo regret ever getting one and another 10% don't like the ones they have, I'll take someone with good judgement over someone who makes bad decisions and has a problem with impulse control.

I'm sure you will, while I could frankly give a fuck. Everyone makes bad decisions, it's how we learn. The ones who claim to be perfect and good decision makers are the one's to be skeptical of. The ones who expect perfection in others are equally bad.

Puritanical hang-ups over appearance are for squares and dorks. You ain't a square dork are ya Baldy?

They're on his forearms, Poindexter. At what formal occasion or business meeting would it not be easy to cover them up?

It used to be that the only (mostly) people with tats were current/ex cons, current/ex military, and bikers. Now (post 2000) it seems like a majority of young adults (20s-30s) have them, and a lot more older adults (40s-50s) than before..

I've said for a while now you used to be a rebel for getting a tat and now almost as much of a rebel for not getting one..

Ok I just looked up some tat stats. A little exxagerrated on my part, but not too much
18-25 yr olds with tats 36%
26-40 yr olds wity tats 40%

You and WeeTag hammer me for being judgmental and saying something about how the guy looks. Yet, neither one of you couldn't point to anything I said about how the guy looks. :dunce:

kalm made the ridiculous statement insinuating that there was no difference between a tattoo and a suit.

You can take off a suit. You can change a suit. You can buy a new suit to replace an old suit.

Unless you want to undergo extremely expensive, time consuming, and painful medical procedures, you are stuck with a tattoo...the same tattoo 4 lyfe. You are stuck with that one bad decision (for 25% of the people) forever.

Yes, thank you! I literally didn't realize that you can take off a suit, change a suit, replace a suit whereas a tattoo is forever!

How could you be smart enough to go to an Ivy League school without "under represented minority" preference and stupid enough to tattoo yourself like that and make yourself look like that? Paradox.
To help you out a little, I was counter trolling this reply.

And even Flaggy knew what why I was doing.
What's honestly the difference between that and a suit and tie?

I agree. Both are choices. So both are open to praise and/or criticism.
8-)

You (and maybe JSO although this might have been a subtle troll) like conformity. It makes you feel good. Senators are supposed to look the part. Dress for success. Get off my porch!

Some people get tats in memory of loved ones. Some people get them for no reason and change them like hairstyles.

Mrs. Kalm's grandpa was a sailor on a Destroyer in WWII. Picked up a couple of these for crossing the equator and travelling a certain amount of miles. He was pretty damn proud of them and liked to show them off, even in his 70's.

I see you're still struggling with this. That's sad. :ohno:

My best friend was Marine Recon. He's got lots of tatts. Married to a beautiful woman, a school teacher, again, lots of tatts. Wonderful people. Just adopted 3 kids. If only I were so judgmental about people with tattoos. :dunce:

I'm only judgmental of him because he thinks Natty Light is good beer.

This is your last chance, or you're gonna lose this thread too. Please show me where I judged anyone.
