Re: App State cutting men's soccer, men's tennis, men's indoor T&F

I didn't know App had indoor track and field. A shame about soccer in a way though. Even though I don't really care about the game, App was something of a power back in the late '70's and early '80's. A coach had good recruiting skills in Africa and landed some really talented players, including Tho...

Question for the lawyers here is does he have the authority to do so? God, (or Allah, Yaweh, Baal, Zeus or whatever(s)) help me though, I think he may be on the right track about the issue from a governing standpoint. Restraining religion in any way in this country seems to be skating on pretty thi...

So Trump declares people can go to church and he’ll override any governor who says otherwise. Where are all of the state’s rights folks? Re: Coronavirus COVID-19

NC moves into Phase 2 of reopening tomorrow. Restaurants at 50% capacity, barbers and hair salons back running, etc. Not sure about tattoo or massage parlors though. Bars, gyms and public playgrounds still closed for five more weeks. This makes no sense. SC is opening up attractions like mini golf ...

Houndawg is as sensitive as a goddam toilet seat.

What famous novel is that from? Most tenth graders at good schools can answer that question without Googling it.

I can't understand how these people look at nations mandating masks in public - some boasting a 90% decrease in transmission rates - and still have the audacity to think this way. It's an act of consideration to your fellow man, not a threat to your freedom. At least one conk seems to get it... :no...

Another Idiot NBC Link Turnage's Facebook post, now removed, said that "the World has been introduced to a new phrase Herd Immunity which is a good one. Pretty amazing that a 30 year old guy batting a career 240 suddenly produces the season of his career seemingly out of nowhere in his 6th season in the bigs. Again, nothing fishy there. :coffee: Let's wrap this up. Number of players on the 1998 Yankees c...

Governor Roy Cooper gives tentative approval for NASCAR to hold the Coca Cola 600 in Charlotte at the end of May. Assuming things progress with the virus. No fans though.

So now we have two sports potentially returning to TV, Golf and NASCAR. I don't watch either. It's a start though.
