Re: I feel for Idaho State
I'll jump in with my 2 cents. Idaho State should have gotten in the playoffs, particularly over Indiana State. Yeah you can claim they have a "weak schedule", but the team nor the AD is in 100% control of who they play as many teams will not even entertain the idea of playing them. But wit...

Re: MEAC Five Way tie and AQ for Morgan State
I read the article published from the MEAC website that states how Morgan State got the AQ for the playoffs. Yet, I don't understand how 5 teams tied for first place, and yet Morgan State was the only one to get in the playoffs. Can anyone explain this mess? Well, only one team can get an auto-bid ...

I must be missing something, when did the team go to Indianapolis? They didn't even play Butler or a team from Indiana this year.

Pride Stickers
So we all know that teams like Michigan State, Ohio State, Florida State, and so on, use pride stickers for players helmets. What FCS teams use pride stickers? And if so, how do they earn them? Each school seems to have a different set of rules when it comes to this and they often get confusing. I t...

Big Sky logo on field
It was my understanding that in the 2nd year of the new Big Sky logo, all teams needed to add the logo to their football fields and basketball courts. However, after watching Weber State and Montana, neither has done so. Am I incorrect in understanding that they were suppose to update and add the lo...

What do you do if your parents DON'T sign your NLI
I keep reading all of these stories about parents that don't want their kids to go to a particular school and would rather stay home and not leave for whatever reason. I also know that you need a parent to sign the NLI with you for it to become official. But what do you do if they refuse to sign it ...

New FCS uniforms and rebranding for 2013
So whats the news on new uniforms and rebranding for this upcoming year? Here is what I have heard, not saying it's all true, but rumors are fun! Montana State has switched to Under Armor and will be getting new uniforms. It is also no secret that we will be getting a new logo. From the rumors I hav...

Re: Gonzaga and Cal State Northridge
Ok so Gonzaga was no in for football. But there has to be some information out there about Cal State Northridge. I have tried several searches on google and only one picture comes up, the link to the records is great, but I know there must be more out there. Who were their players? Any in the NFL? W...

Gonzaga and Cal State Northridge
So for the last hour I have been trying to find information regarding Gonzaga and Cal State Northridge's football teams from the times each were in the Big Sky. Google searches and a bit of digging find... nothing. Not even the school websites have history information about their teams. Why is it so...

Re: A What If BCS 20 team Bracket for this year.
I don't like the BCS and I think that the way its run is a sham. Since the WAC is dropping football after this season, my perfect model would include all 10 conference championship winners in a 10 seeded tournament. Based on the BCS standings, the seedings would be: 1. Alabama 2. Kansas State 3. Sta...

History of the Big Sky logo
The Big Sky has been around since 1963, however, I have only been able to find two Big Sky logos. The current logo and the one it replaced. Prior to that, I have not been able to find what the logo looked like between 1963 and the end of the 20th century. Anyone have pictures of the logo prior to 20...

Conference expansion ripple to FCS
Maryland and Rutgers are going to the B1G. Sources indicate that Boise State, San Diego State, and BYU will go back to the Mountain West, UConn to the ACC, and Louisville and Cincy to the Big XII. With these confirmed and possible moves, what will that mean for the FCS, if anything? Will the ripples...

Re: Big Sky was to have two divisions?
The SWAC has a championship game. What would make it difficult? I can't say I am familiar on the rule at the FCS level. Uh...what would make it difficult is you can't have a championship game AND play in the playoffs. :coffee: :coffee: So thats the rule? Is that really why the SWAC is not in the pl...

Big Sky was to have two divisions?
I found this while reading the November 1st, 2010 Big Sky press release informing of the additions of Southern Utah and North Dakota: "Monday’s additions bring the future Big Sky to 11 core members and 13 football playing members. The Big Sky Conference is also on the verge of announcing the ad...

Still no official release from UNC it seems about these uniforms. You would think that after Big Sky Media Day, they would at least TELL people that they have new uniforms. I'm sorry but I want to see full pictures of the new uniforms, both home and away, but UNC does not seem to be interested in po...

Scheduling question
Who exactly sets the non conference schedule? Is it the AD? If say Miami wanted to play Northwestern, is it Miami's AD that would contact Northwestern's AD to set up a game? I think this is the case, but I am having a hard time finding a source to confirm it.

Reminds me of the B1G logo. You have a negative reaction at first, but it grows over time. I just can't wait to see it on our uniforms and field.
