Indiana State's Greatest Season Ever
This is the greatest season Indiana State has ever had. I know we're only 7-2 and for some of you that is pretty regular to see out of your team from time to time. You have to remember that this program was in newspapers and magazines everywhere for having the longest losing streak of all-time. The ...

Betting Thoughts???
I know there is no FCS ties in these bets but what are your thoughts about the games I took this week. I normally don't take more than a 4 game parlay but I felt good about this 7 gamer this week. I'm a litlle nervous about my NFL picks being all road games though :? NCAA Clemson -10 vs. G. Tech Ohi...

Re: Shakir Bell breaks MVC single game rushing record
It's an Indiana State Record, not a MVFC record, as it was not a MVFC game.......just sayin. Maybe do a little research first, just sayin. http://www.gosycamores.com//ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=15200&ATCLID=205686299" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; The refs face in the ...

Re: Shakir Bell breaks MVC single game rushing record
He was the Payton Award runner up last year so he is obviously a front runner. He will have nearly 2000 yards this year. Get back at me then

Amazing game by Shakir Bell....just give him the Payton Award now. http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/colleges/bell-breaks-school-record-with-349-yards-rushing-as-indiana-state-defeats-drake-27-10/2012/09/15/0c0a2b82-ff86-11e1-98c6-ec0a0a93f8eb_story.html" onclick="window.open(this.href)...

Re: WEEK 1 Shakir Bell Report
It might get real nasty this week. ISU plays Quincy (IL) who gave up something like 290 yards on the ground against a d3 school. If he somehow gets 20+ carries, we may be looking at a 300+ yard performance.

WEEK 1 Shakir Bell Report
I know more than half of you don't care, but neither do I and I will be doing this report on Tuesdays for the rest of the season so you at least are aware of the ridiculousness this man brings to the table each week. Week 1 @ INDIANA HOOSIERS Shakir Bell- 24 carries 192 yards 1TD 4 rec 31 yds Grante...

How many yards will Shakir Bell rush for this season?
Walter Payton Award runner-up last season rushed for over 1600 yards in an offense that passed quite a bit. New quarterback this year with no experience could mean even more touches. What are your thoughts? My prediction will be 1500 just because defenses will be more aware of him this year.

SIU vs Ind St (HUGE playoff implications)
SIU dominated the first half with 21-0 lead but ISU stormed back in the 3rd to tie it up. 6 min to go in the game SIU leads 35-28. If ISU can come back and win this game I think they punch a ticket into the playoffs. The win against W. Kentucky on the road turns out to be huge as they may be a bowl ...

Re: Week 10 Score Thread
Yea it's pretty sad but like Jay said, it's gonna take some time. From what I can see in the stands, I would guess there is about 8000 people there. Two years ago there would have been 1000 so I guess we have come a long way.

9. Lehigh Mountain Hawks 12. Jacksonville State Gamecocks 15. Indiana State Sycamores 16. Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens Overrated. You obviously have not watched Indiana State play this year. They aren't the team that lost 33 games in a row anymore. They are 5-2 with losses only to Penn State and N. ...

15 threads about the ODU/Towson game? All you need is one thread, maybe two, but seriously there is like ten threads for this game on the front page. Just a couple of middle of the pack teams playing anyways. Can't we talk about real FCS Football? (MVC)

Re: From Gutter to Glory...InSt Football
Well bobby, the nations leading rusher was injured in the 2nd qtr. so dont get too excited. ISU missed there oppurtunities early or we may have been talking about an ISU victory without bell. Just be happy you didnt have to find out what would have happened if he was still in there in the 2nd half.

Re: Wake up FCS - WR runs a 4.34 Forty
Awesome, Shakir Bell and some high school kid both pumping themselves on a message board. Care to make a wager on Bell winning the Payton? I guarantee he won't. Doubt he will even be a finalist. Just wait until this weekend, buddy. When Shakir runs all over UNI on Saturday I'm sure your perception ...

Did I mention he is white! Freak of nature!! Google him and see where he runs track too, best time 100 meters 10.8. 5'11" 180 lbs according to Scout. He benches 325 lbs according to Rivals (3 star). Definitely needs to go to Old Dominion. Ummmm i grew up in south florida....there are band memb...

I wonder if we already scared Shakir off. We won't win the national championship by any means but hopefully a Walter Payton award!...
