Re: TOP 10 STADIUM EXPANSIONS
You guys love to rip on YSU for the gigantic home-team side and the small visitor's team side, but my God look at JMU's. As sweet as it looks, they should work a bit more on that one side if they are going to pimp out the others. Um, you realize that "small" side is the same size it curre...

Re: CAA geography: a good thing
One thing I like about the CAA is that many of the southern schools are close enough that the number of traveling fans is growing. If the other schools admit it or not they love playing JMU at home b/c JMU draws their own fans and JMU brings 4,000 (anyone) to 8,000 (UR) tailgaters. UR last year, at...

Re: Mickey Still Won't Pick a QB
Maybe he is just afraid of losing the starting QB to injury like what happened last year with Landers? By getting as much experience for both quarterbacks as possible, if the starter (whenever/whoever that may be) goes down with an injury the back up quarterback will be able to step up with some le...

Re: Mickey Still Won't Pick a QB
So dumb. I like Mickey and I think he's a good coach, but this is a mistake. I'm afraid it will come back to bite us. Anybody that watched the Liberty game saw that we moved more effectively with Dudzik. No, MM will give Thorpe some reps at Hofstra. So maybe JMU wins by one less TD thn they otherwi...

Not yet. As I've said we are still in negotiations with the big sky to turn them into CAAWest, this way we can add even more cupcakes to our schedule. :thumb: I know. ISU and UNC ARE cupcakes. Unfortunately for the CAA, only 1/4 of our conference is cupcake, not 1/2. :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: Addi...

You're picking Hofstra by 4 or 5 touchdowns at Western Michigan? Start passing around that **** you're smoking    Judging from his comment about the game "Hey, on the bright side for the Flying Dutchmen, they should't get beat as bad as they did at UR." one could deduce ...

Re: CAA Predictions for September 26th
URI @ UConn by 4-5 TDs. UConn beat Ohio on the road 23-16, lost to ranked UNC at home 12-10, and last weak won at Baylor 30-22. My guess is UConn comes out flat against a fired up Ram team looking for the upset, and let the Rams stick around longer than they should before pulling away in the 2nd hal...

Top to bottom, the MWC is far superior to the ACC and Big East. When is the last time the MAC or Sunbelt, or even C-USA had a team in a BCS bowl? MWC and WAC do so regularly.     FSU, not one of the 4 ranked ACC teams, just laid a beatdown on the road on overrated BYU 54-2...

That would be a HUGE upset. I just looked up the line. Betus has Wofford +20.5 right now. 5dimes has them +20.Gil Dobie wrote:I don't know if Wagner over NDSU can be considered an upset
So I'll go with Wofford over Wisconsin, which really wouldn't be an upset either.

Re: CAA 4 - FBS 4
The other big consideration where the East Coasters definitely have an advantage is geography. I would MUCH rather UD play games that are close to UD. It would appear more and more teams agree. Virgnia has gone to only playing I-AA's in state , same for South Carolina. Having a chance at a win + pl...

Re: CAA Forcast for Sept 19
Delaware State @ UD by 3-4 TDs. Del State played FAMU, likely one of the top 2 MEAC teams along with SC State, tough, losing 21-12. UD will likely be very focused after losing the UR heartbreaker, and will win comfortably. YSU @ Northeastern. YSU by 1-2 TDs. YSU is mid pack MVFC. They got pummeled a...

Should have included, I'm aware that there are more FBS schools on the east coast... more of a selection. There are also more FCS teams over here, more teams for the FBS schools to pick from. Yes I'm also aware of your isolation out in MT, fact still is, there are teams within your normal traveling...

I don't know what you're talking about, there are plenty of "bottom feeder" teams out there on the west coast... in fact, you guys have played a couple of them in the past decade. So don't give me this "pity us" deal. Plenty? I count less than 15 "bottom feeder" within...

pretty good record and it goes to prove a point. The upper of FCS can compete and win against mid/lower FBS just like the top of D2 can compete with the FCS. 4-4 (should be winning record) is great unfortunately I don't think ESPN will pick up on that anytime soon. .... USA Today has... &quo...
