First WR taken at #12 by Las Vegas. Dipshit Mel Kiper had him as the #3 WR.

Hopefully Howie is making the calls. About to be a run on receivers. You want to get one of the top four. Big dropoff from Jefferson to Mims. If Lamb, Jeudy, or Jefferson fall to 21, it's a huge win for Howie.

Jerrah cockblocks the Eagles on CeeDee Lamb.

Eagles-Cowboys games may total 100 points this season.
Lamb was a helluva value at #17.

Just got off the phone with a Cowboy friend. He said Cowboys needed a slot guy and if they can prevent Philly from getting him two birds.

JFC Howie. You could have got that guy in the 2nd round you dumb fuck.
You just picked a midget with bad hands in the first round.

Nice pick by the Eagles. Reagor has been a good receiver the last few years.
Re: NFL 2020 Season
Terrible pick. They pass on far superior Justin Jefferson, who the Vikes quickly scoop up with the next pick.
Howie Roseman is so fucking clueless. He just cannot scout WRs. It's unbelievable.

Jefferson had a better QB throwing to him. Reagor is good. Next few years will tell.

Packers make a move, Jordan Love. We are just bored of Aaron Rodgers I guess.

Holy SEC. 15 picks 1st round, LSU leading the way with 5, followed by Bama with 4.
5 each for Big 10 and Big 12.
3 each for ACC and Pac 12

Re: NFL 2020 Season
I agree. I'm on the wait and see crowd regarding this. Reagor slipped a little bit and Jefferson moved up a lot based on their 40 times at the combine, but Reagor has faster 40 times in other settings and he certainly plays fast. Hard to judge the hands and production - Jefferson had the top pick in the draft (and Heisman winner to boot) throwing to him, surrounded by the best offense in the land. Reagor had some guy throwing to him who's working on formatting his job resume for an entry-level, management training program right now. I see Reagor as a Desean Jackson type WR - if he can approach what Jackson did in the pros then we'll be fine.
And let's be honest, the Vikings were going to take whoever we didn't take - we take Jefferson and they were picking Reagor.
With that said, I still would've toyed with picking a LB'er at #21 and gone WR in the second round. But you wouldn't have gotten the speed you get with Reagor. If Jackson gets hurt again this year (er, when Jackson gets hurt again this year) at least you can replace him.

Re: NFL 2020 Season
Amen. There's another Howie shortfall. He doesn't realize that the linebacker position exists.
So, we now have a half dozen nickel backs and a half dozen slot receivers on the roster, because he just doesn't understand football. They should keep him on as a cap adviser (he's admittedly good at that), but let the football people do the football stuff.
Thank God Howie got lucky in free agency before the 2017 season.

And I hope we look back at my Reagor comments and laugh in three years. For the Eagles' sake.
But right now, the pick smells terrible.

I was certain the Eagle were taking Tee Higgins... didn't see that coming
why pick the guy that damn near led the Big 12 in drops last season ?

Re: NFL 2020 Season
I've been watching him for 3 years in college and always thought of Reagor as a good receiver. He also returned 2 kicks for TD's. He's doesn't have the skills of a Calvin Johnson, but could be an Amari Cooper or Michael Thomas. Those are other WR I followed in college. Depends like every other receiver, how he adapts to the NFL.
Re: NFL 2020 Season
I think Howie sees more of a DeSean Jackson, and that's concerning. A guy like DeSean adds a nice pop to the offense in wide open space against one-dimensional defenses, but he's not going to win you Super Bowls. Once you're in the red zone, guys like that disappear. Just my .Gil Dobie wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 7:37 amI've been watching him for 3 years in college and always thought of Reagor as a good receiver. He also returned 2 kicks for TD's. The Eagles could have traded back five or ten spots and still got this guy or Mims or Tee Higgins or any of the slew of second tier receivers.
Again, I hope I'm very wrong and Howie exposes me as an amateur.
