They've moved the Holtmann presser back to Thursday as of now. A solid hire indeed, VERY happy with it! He has his work cut out for him, but when he was at G-W before, he built solid relationships with everyone...faculty, staff, students, alumni, etc., all while working for an absolute jerk. This time, he'll be calling the shots....looking forward to good things.

GWU announces new men's head basketball coach

Gardner-Webb announced Thursday morning that it is bringing on Chris Holtmann as the university's new men's basketball head coach.



The university hired Holtmann to replace longtime coach Rick Scruggs, who was fired earlier this year.



Holtmann has been an assistant coach at Ohio University for the last 2 years and served on Scruggs' staff at GWU before that.
