Who wins the rushing title?
Smith has won it the last 3 years and no one in big sky history has done it 4 times.
At this point you gotta go with Jones as Smith didn't even play in the last game as was healthy. I assume Smiths will play this week.

Jones 841 - 8 games.
Smith 724 - 7 games, team has played 8. I'm not sure what Smith can do to pass up Jones.

That meeting he missed at the hotel last week which was the reason he didn't play might have cost in the rushing title.

Plus Jones has three suspect defenses left in schedule - PSU, SUU, and NAU.

PSU must have a good rush defense. They held Smith of Weber to 30 yds and Reynolds of UM to 28 yds.

Montana also has a good rush D... at least they did before Jones ran all over them for 148 yds.weberwildcat wrote:kalm wrote:Plus Jones has three suspect defenses left in schedule - PSU, SUU, and NAU.

Good luck to PSU at stopping Jones on Qwest Field's sweet field turf.

We were also down 14-0 in that game, so we definitely didn't run the ball as much as we normally do.weberwildcat wrote:kalm wrote:Plus Jones has three suspect defenses left in schedule - PSU, SUU, and NAU.
