No. For instance, it is not fair and just to deny White students admission to particular institutions of higher learning to make room for Black students who are objectively not as qualified by inventing the idea that Black students become more "qualified" by virtue of contributing to the "diversity" of the student body.

Don't even go there with crap about the society not being "fair and just" to Blacks. This society is currently bending over backwards for Blacks. It's investing all KINDS of effort to try to "raise them up." You own a business and you had BETTER hire enough Blacks whether objective competition results in that or not. So on and so forth.

And we all know it's true. Don't EVEN try to argue otherwise. We all know that there is constant scrutiny on the matter of whether this business, this area, this whatever, has sufficient "diversity," And we all know that "sufficient diversity" is basically code for "enough people of color."
The U.S. military is the only place were minorities are treated fair to a certain extent. The U.S. Military treats everyone fair as far as annual pay and benefits. However, the private sector.........lol  Name me another place.

I'm proud to be from Charleston. I have ancestors that fought for the Union and Confederacy, but this flag is t about hate. That's a power that groups have given it. If we're going to remove it, then why not remove the U.S. flag, the flag that has wronged more blacks than the CSA ever did. A flag which flew over the country when we massacred Indians, mistreated immigrants, kept Slavery alive during the Civil War, waged war under bogus claims and gave the world the Kardashians.

Removing the flag will change nothing. Whites don't like blacks and vice versa due to history and the current culture. You can't legislate the problem away. It'll take a conscious effort from all of us to change the culture.

We have no problem with each other on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons during the fall.
We have no problems with each other when we all serve in the Military.
We have no problems when we have to work together in the aftermath of a natural or man made disaster.

So why is it that we just can't treat each other like humans. You don't have to like me, but you are going to respect me. Am I know I BULLSHIT a lot, but this s a serious question.
When you say, "respect me" what do you mean. Is it not enough to simply do nothing but mind my own business? I'm curious to know what respecting requires.

It's a traitors flag, plan and simple. The CSA took up armed rebellion against the Union and the CSA lost. This is itself makes them traitors. General Lee and President Davis should have been lynched like dogs after the war. This is America. The only two flags that should be flying over any Government house is the U.S Flag and the State Flag.

You're right. The US military treats minorities fairly. The private sector treats minorities MORE than fairly, often times hiring minorities even when they're not the most qualified candidate.

Publicly traded companies are required to provide EEO tracking, as are companies that accept government contracts.
In CA, there is a greater percentage of minorities in government employment than the demographic percentages of the populace.

That's the Federal Government. I used to work for the Federal Government and its there. Seen it and its the reason why I left. What about state or local jobs? Minorities are not treated that great. I've seen this first hand. My cousin had a lawsuit against the county for not promoting him to Fire Chief. He has over 20 years of Fire Fighting experience and 26 if you include his time in the Air Force. HE has a B.S in Fire Science and just received his M.S. in Emergency Management. He is a state certified EMT and Paramedic. every time he goes in front of the promotion board they give him a sorry azz excuse of why he can't become a Fire Chief. But this is just one. I told his azz never to leave AFD Atlanta Fire Department. He was at the Airport Fire Station. But he's a Zoomie so that's to be expected.

They can't be traitors since they were fighting for their own country, the CSA. Georgia, who lawfully secceded from the US, was part of the CSA.

And what flag besides the US flag and GA state flag is GA flying over their state house?

They lost. They are traitors to the country. I could care the reason why they did it.

WHAT IF: in 1963 MLK and Malcolm X decided to take start a armed rebellion in the United States. They received arms and money from Cuba, Russia and China. In fact, the U.N recognized their right to rebel. Stating that Black Americans were not given the rights that white Americans had. Taxation without representation. Fast Forward 6 years later. After 15 Million deaths. America crushes the Black Rebellion and MLK and Malcolm X surrenders.

Question #1: Would they be labeled as traitors?
Question #2: Did they have a legal right to rebel?
Question #3: Would you allow the Black Rebellion Flag to fly over any statehouse in this country?

Sure they are revered, they weren't largely motivated by the idea of preserving slavery. Sure, they kept slavery, but they didn't part ways with England for that purpose. It would be about 50 years later by the time England banned slavery altogether so it had virtually nothing to do with the American Revolution.

The problem though is, except maybe for a few cases, none of this is as cut and dried as we like to make it. Lee was a slave owner but he joined the confederacy because Virginia did. As I mentioned on another board, if Virginia doesn't secede, the South now hates Lee and the north builds monuments to him. Didn't happen so it doesn't matter, but it isn't quite as easy as we like to make it out to be. There were all types of motivating factors.
