Poll: Who will win the title game?

OK I give up. I'll start the poll. And I'm voting Illinois State. I'll actually be pulling for North Dakota State because I like their style. But Illinois State has the horses this year. Hard to pick against them.

I must say that even though there have only been six votes I'm surprised to see it so one sided. North Dakota State did have its hands full with both South Dakota State and Coastal Carolina. Illinois State has a LOT of talent. I think this is the toughest matchup for North Dakota State during its championship games run.

I wouldn't mind seeing North Dakota State win. But I dunno. As impressive as North Dakota State's been in losing that nucleus of players plus changing coaching staff and STILL getting to the championship game again I don't think they're quite what they were 2011 through 2013. And Illinois State is loaded.

I'm not gonna do my usual position comparison this time, so I'll just take the Redbirds to win 24-20. I think ISU(r) is the superior team on paper, largely due to a more dangerous passing game, but it's a contest between that & NDSU's championship/Frisco experience. Flipping a coin might as good as anything for predicting this game.

Illinois St for me. Very close call though. Beating UNH @UNH was the deciding factor for me.
