Pissed off that they are losing the limelight, they're ba-ack.
New York (CNN) -- A protest against racism and police violence packed sidewalks in New York on Tuesday, despite calls from the city's mayor for a pause in demonstrations.

As they marched past shops on the city's storied Fifth Avenue, some protesters chanted "Hey-hey, ho-ho. These racist cops have got to go" and "How do you spell racist? N-Y-P-D."; others carried signs saying "Jail killer cops" and "Stop the war on Black America."

Mayor Bill de Blasio had asked for the demonstrations to stop until after funerals for two police officers who were slain over the weekend in Brooklyn.

But organizers of Tuesday's protest said there was no reason to "give in to hysteria" and call off the march.

Evidently, Cliven Bundy killed these two cops.

That was quite a ceremony. And a very impressive showing of police.

Except in his opening comment he says "I know I speak for the entirety of the nation in how deeply we feel for you and your loss"....unfortunately he does NOT speak for the entirety of the nation. There's a rather large segment that seems to think that open season on cops is perfectly acceptable and that what the murderer did was perfectly fine...

Sure he does. But even a retard (which I'm not sure DiBlaiso even qualifies for) knows not to do that shit in public. Then again, not surprised you support him. :dunce:

No, he does not. As mayor his overview includes policy. The Police Commissioner is responsible for individual officer performance. When Dickblasio remarked he was "disappointed" by the Grand Jury decision, he:

Publicly stated the criminal justice system failed.

Publicly stated that a uniformed police officer had gotten away with murder.

Publicly implied that the NYPD had unlawfully killed a man due to his skin color.

All three are erroneous, slanderous, and politically motivated.

The officer's were assassinated by a mentally ill zealot motivated and acting upon the encouragement of the thoughtless fucks, Deblasio, Sharpton, Holder and Obama.

P.S. Fuck off, Troll.

He may not speak for the entirety, but he speaks for the majority. The people who wish first responders ill will are a definite minority. A vocal one, but a minority all the same. Cops who target blacks because they are black are an even smaller minority and most people also know that. Anyone who panders to minority grievances will always pay at the polls.

DeBlasio is a politician and they will always play both sides of the fence. His flaw was that he did not play both sides deftly enough and he will pay for it. Deriding the grand jury decision was stupid on his part.

If a guy is able to just step back and not take any of the events and actions personally
Just examine the entire situation with no dog in it

One comes to a few conclusions:
1) The Mayor is an idiot
2) The NYC Police regardless of their history or otherwise - are acting like a Union
3) Those speaking the loudest in NYC - seem to have the least to say - on both sides
4) Those with predisposed ideological positions are now more entrenched (on both sides) than ever

How 'bout them cops that turned their backs when the mayor spoke and turned it into a political event...?
That mayor, in response to the Garner thing, stoked the fire of the crap about it being a race thing when it clearly was not. Again: A White guy would've gotten exactly the same treatment as Garner got in the same situation. And that piece of sh*t mayor went into that big thing about having to have "the talk" with his son etc. when what he should have been saying is, "People, there's not a shred of evidence that what happened to Garner was about race."

I am not a cop worshipper. But it's the mayor that turned it into a political thing by playing into the "Cops are hunting young Black males" mythology. He had a chance to be a leader and instead he chose to be a politician by pandering to a delusional social paranoia on the part of certain groups within the culture.

Well DUH to #2

NYPD has had the third strongest police union in the country since there have been unions.

All public sector unions are the same whether they are police, fire, teachers or what have you- they extort government for less work, more pay, and protections for incompetence and corruption.
