JFC, I'm still fighting my hangover from last night and you've already got next week's predictions. I'm still getting over JMU's loss....Er.. felt like a loss to StFU.

If JMU doesn't lose the turnover battle (lost 4-0 last week while UNCC had 7 turnovers in 40-12 loss to NCCU), doesn't have a TD called back like last week, gets 2 of its top 3 receivers back that missed last week (should get at least one of them back), doesn't commit all the bonehead penalties that committed last week, Birdsong being able to practice this week (unlike last week), JMU should roll. But "should" is the operative word, and while I believe they will, not even I am predicting a 60 point win. Heck, I don't think a single person on the JMU board has predicted a 60 point win.

That is because you're a bunch of sandbaggers with the balls of titmice.

Don't feel unique though. We have a bunch of scared, old men on GoHens who were so shaken by the Navy rout of UD that they think Wagner can give us a game on Saturday.

Predicting 5 lopsided (more than 2 TDs) to blowout games and 3 good ones (2 TDs or less)

SBU @ Nova could be a good one.

On the one hand, Nova is banged up. Were missing up to 6 defensive starters in their loss @ a good Fordham team 27-24. After their bye week will still be missing at least 1 starting LB and starting safety.
http://www.vuhoops.com/villanova-vs-for ... on-college" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Also turned the ball over 6x:
http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/sbn ... ctory.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

HOWEVER, Nova is:
-@ home
-coming off a bye
-seeking revenge for last season's playoff loss.
-desperate. Fall to 0-3 and their playoff hopes are very remote..

SBU:
-3rd straight road game
-coming off devastating 5OT loss @ Buffalo.

CCSU @ Albany could be a good one.

Liberty @ UR I think will be the best game. UR is pretty much in the same boat as Nova. Fall to 1-3, and their playoff hopes will be pretty slim.

Thanks for giving us 10 extra points at Navy. We could have used those in the first quarter.

Before I even saw your post I saw the typo. I also changed my prediction of UD over Wagner from 3-4 TDs to 4-5 TDs. After all, UD should roll over a team that lost to "Merrimack"... :coffee:

I think UD is going to play angry in this game after the Navy loss. Had Keeler been here, they may have moped through this game, but I think they'll react differently for Brock. At least I hope so.

They played like zombies in the 2nd half of DSU...and they moped in the second half (heck the second quarter)of Navy. Same players the quit against nova. With the two drab showings from the team, and no display of 60 consecutive minutes of good football, it is clear that Brock hasn't had the ability to influence them too much.

The kids will have to solve this issue themselves and kill their own cancer.

We should stomp Wagner.

Brock has to do what Ambrose did, run off all the complacent players and deal with the growing pains/losses.

Were you drinking buddies with Keeler? No offense intended, but it seems that way whenever you post about the UD coaching situation.

JMU 34, UNCC 7

Outgained UNCC 522-231, despite turning the ball over 5 times. :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: UNCC's lone points came off a short drive after a true Fr for JMU fumbled the opening kickoff. JMU's 14 possessions with the starters was 5 TDs (missed XP), 4 turnovers, 2 punts, 2 lost on downs, 1 end of half. Without the turnovers would have won by around 50.... :ohno:

Birdsong was 20-28 for 201, 1 TD, 2 INT.
Dae'quan Scott had 35 carries for 176 yds.

http://www.jmusports.com/fls/14400/stat ... M_ID=14400" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Was pouring the 1st half. 2 teams combined for 8 Turnovers (5 of them lost fumbles, and that doesn't include the ones that weren't lost). I know they were playing with wet balls, but that was ridiculous...
