On one hand, you cant say. I dont want workers to make 35.00/hour , but the CEO of the same company gets 3.4 million a year and you say, well thats his market value.

The difference is, the CEO is not in a union, so it truly IS his market value.Chizzang wrote:He must be agreeing with you Klean...mrklean wrote:

That is only because the unions want it that way. The National Labor Relations Act does not mandate unions exclusively represent all employees, but permits them to electively do so. Under the Act, unions can also negotiate "members-only" contracts that only cover dues-paying members. They do not have to represent other employees.mrklean wrote:No, they are paid the same.CAA Flagship wrote: Who said they are? Maybe they are compensated differently.
The Supreme Court has ruled repeatedly on this point. As Justice William Brennan wrote in Retail Clerks v. Lion Dry Goods, the Act's coverage "is not limited to labor organizations which are entitled to recognition as exclusive bargaining agents of employees … 'Members only' contracts have long been recognized."

Well.........your punctuation was good. No major misspellings that I noticed. Effective use of quotations and caps. Maybe a little overboard on the ... but that's OK. Overall, I thought you did just fine.Chizzang wrote:Chizzang wrote: It's not "Banks" in and of themselves... Especially Mop and Pop Credit Union Etc.
