They can't stand so many Jacks fans on the board.

NAU is 8-1 and all alone in first place in the Big Sky and its killin em. They have the top ranked defense in the big sky, tied for #1 in interceptions, the highest rated pass defense, the top scoring defense, top red zone defense. Defense wins Championships.
Trust me: if there's any other Big Sky team Griz fans are not "dying" over being in first place, it's NAU.

I would have assumed that given the history and close ties the NAU staff has with Montana but the way some Griz fans on this board act is as if its eatin them alive.
Believe it or not there is a ton of respect for Montana from NAU.The tradition is undeniable and it is something they are trying to establish. They have taken a huge step in that direction.

I think the alleged rape in question occurred from 1998-2011. :kisswink:

To summarize...

EWU throttled Idaho by 17 in their DI win, NAU squeaked one out against UNLV.
EWU barely lost (by 4) to WSU, NAU got throttled by ASU (by 57!).
EWU's opponents are .500, NAU's are well below... but NAU throttled a bad D-II!!!!
NAU's bandwagon fans feel vastly inferior, because they are.

Idaho lost to louisiana tech 70-28  UNLV only lost to louisiana Tech 58-31
:ugeek:
I know you're a simpleton who's not proficient with simple math (ironically), but the difference between those two games is 15 points. The difference between margins of victory in both NAU and EWU's wins over their respective FBS opponents is 14 points. Regardless, my points in the above quoted post still stand, especially that last one. :coffee:

What's "eating us alive" is the jackasses that have come out of the woodwork to witness the once-a-decade decent season, acting like NAU is suddenly the be-all, end-all of the BSC.

Ibanez - Northern Arizona - including the Grand Canyon and Sedona - are quite scenic. Southern Utah has good sight seeing as well. Glad you enjoyed it. An old college friend @ NAU got his bachelors degree @ Appalachian State and said Flagstaff reminded him of Boone, NC.

SUU wins, just like last year

the NAU CP game eliminates one from from the BSC championship

which throws the BSC into a clusterf**k of tiebreakers.

Maybe, but if NAU drops a game and MSU and EWU win out, Eastern still holds the head to head. So the only real tie-breaker in this scenario would be between NAU and EWU which is where it gets weird.

I guess we will see, The only team in the top half of the BSC (Montana doesnt count  ) that NAU has played was a narrow win over UND (granted it was on the road),

if NAU wins the next 2 weeks they deserve the ring no doubt

NO

if EWU and MSU win out
assuming SUU loses to NAU
(case 1) CP win over NAU, EWU has TB over MSU & CP But not NAU, CP has TB over NAU but not MSU or EWU, NAU and MSU have TB over nobody but are not eliminated because neither CP or EWU have complete TB over both.
(case 2)cp loses to NAU, EWU had TB over MSU but not EWU. MSU and NAU dont have TB over anybody, but again EWU needs a TB over both to get the AB

after this it falls into the record against others in decending order but since we dont all play common teams I dont think anybody is eliminated.

Sagrin rating MSU has the highest score as of today

Truthfully it is a clusterf**k and if there are 3 or more tied it will most likely come down to the sagrin rating

Oh SE there is a road to EWU getting the AB, SUU beats NAU, CP beats NAU, NAU eliminated by virtue of 2 losses, EWU has TB over MSU and CP

SO you need to become a SUU fan and a CP fan in the next few weeks.

My understanding is, if CP beats NAU (very likely) EWU wins the tiebreaker by virtue of the win over MSU and EWU beat a highest ranked common opponent of NAU, Cal Poly.
