Whoever registered that motor home cheated their home state out of thousands of dollars in sales tax and it is not a big deal?SuperHornet wrote:Once again, the poli-trolls are making a big deal out of nothing.
Have we already forgotten the plethora of tax-evaders President Obama paraded before the Congress as spoils system candidates for Cabinet and other appointable Executive Branch positions? People with SERIOUS evasion issues?

Throw on the crap about being against the health care mandate while flopping about girl sports venues with his face painted and having no health insurance himself, and there you have it, a poor dumb conk boy.

You talking about me or Santorum?
I can't speak for Santorum, but if you're talking about me, that's a lie. I paid taxes every one of the 17 years I spent in the Navy/Navy Reserve, and I pay taxes every year now. It's taken out of my paycheck whenever I have a job. And I have no problem with that. Paying fair taxes is a citizen's duty.

The discussion was about Santorum not paying his fair taxes, and thereby shirking his citizen's duty.SuperHornet wrote:You talking about me or Santorum?

So you were a government employee for a while huh. Guess the taxpayers paid your taxes then also.

Um, no, Wedgie. The taxpayers paid my salary, not my taxes. The salary of a member of the military is taxable both federally and in those states which actually bother with an income tax, as Cali does. And it's taxable at the same rate as that of a civilian with the same salary.

I don't remember, and I don't care to look as it's none of your [bleep]ing business.
Suffice it to say that I got a fed refund but everything balanced out with my state taxes.

Ok then, you paid some tax. Why do you think you should do your duty and pay your fair share of taxes when a Republican candidate for president that you support ripped off his home state for the sales tax on his bus, and you come on here defending him?SuperHornet wrote:I don't remember, and I don't care to look as it's none of your [bleep]ing business.

People do this all the time and the ONLY reason is to avoid paying sales tax in their home state.SuperHornet wrote:Oh, so he "ripped off his home state" because Wedgie thinks so?

So if it's none of our business here is it any of your business if some Obama crony didn't pay taxes at some point?

You wouldn't believe all of the useless F U C K S who evade paying taxes by doing this. While driving through 32 states in the RV I saw numerous RV's with Montana plates in campgrounds. After introducing myself to a few of these folks thinking they were fellow Montanan's I soon realized not one tax evading POS was from Montana.

Nope. We have three law offices that spend at least one hour per day doing nothing but registering and renewing these vehicles.polsongrizz wrote:You wouldn't believe all of the useless F U C K S who evade paying taxes by doing this. I would say, conservatively, we register 15,000-20,000 of these vehicles per year. That is just in Missoula County.

I do that all the time because Montana doesn't have a sales tax. So I am not cheating my home state out of anything.89Hen wrote:Have you ever bought anything online and not paid sales tax? Not much different here.Vidav wrote:

Fact is he did not pay sales tax on a half million dollar vehicle by licensing it in a state where he has no residency or pays no taxes in.89Hen wrote:Nope. Facts are better. YOU try to make everything about politics.Wedgebuster wrote:

I don't care for Santorum in the least. Assholes like you are confused over what is tax cheating and what is not. Ask Vidav if the "three law offices that spend at least one hour per day doing nothing but registering and renewing these vehicles" is involved in illegal activity. It is not illegal in Montana. But you can certainly be fined for it in other states, because they DO view it as tax cheating. Even if you or Montana do not.89Hen wrote:I don't care for Santorum in the least. Assholes like you are confused over what is tax cheating and what is not.
