As Ivy said, lying under oath is a no go... it flies directly in the face of the oath of office as well as the oath to tell the truth, etc. so slick Willie was an idiot under that accord w/o question.

However, he REALLY fucked up on two larger and more important accounts.

If he would have just stood up before the american people and held up a picture of Hillary and said this, "My fellow americans. I have the most stressful job in the world and I have at my finger tips the nuclear codes that will turn this entire planet into dust. You want me to get my rocks off, you NEED me to get my rocks off. As you can see I am married to this skank who is uglier than monkey shit, nothing short of a ball buster, and goes 69 with Janet Reno at least 5 times a week. She (that woman, Ms. Lewinski) sucked my dick, licked the back of my balls, even ran her hot tongue over my anus a time or two, and she then swallowed every drop of the presidential load..." I would have cheered him on and even respected him somewhat.

The second fuckup is just as egregious... If you're the president and want some young pussy you don't hammer some skank intern like Monica Lewinsky, you get on the horn to Larry Flint and tell him to send his best up to the white house pronto and for that patriotic service your justice department won't fuck with him ever again, or you call Hugh Hefner and have some bunnies delivered in exchange for the presidential medal of freedom.

Exactly! kalm, how many "blue dogs" are left? A ton of them lost in 2010. Reid, Emmanuel, Hildabeast, the Obama White House -- all mainstream (or further left) liberals. Don't keep using Kucinich and Bernie "Satch" Sanders to make your points.
Democrats who run as Republicans tend to lose. The political center has shifted right for both parties. The voters are closer to the middle. I love how the very notion of that bothers you conks so much.

I know. I could pull out the 8,000 different examples of how the Democratic Party has shifted to the right ever since Clinton especially once they realized that there was far more campaign dollars to be had from corporate America than the unions. Do you think it's a coincidence how Obama and Bush's policies are similar? Or that the big donor lists come from the same types of firms?

But I wouldn't want to ruin your precocious fantasies. :kisswink:

There you go, kalm, dragging corporations into it again!

And if you think the Democratic Party was further to the left in the 1990s than it is today, I have a used car that I'd like to sell you! Can you even imagine The Chosen One, The Right Honorable B. Hussein Obama, standing up in tonight's SOTU and proclaiming, "The Era of Big Government is over"?

But this would still A-OK if it were Newt, or Cheney, or GW, or Reagan, or Nixon etc, etc, etc.

We get it, partaisanship rules and common sense is out the window when talking politics. Lying about extramarital affairs to the partisan congressional delegation is criminal, while lying about reasons to send our kids into battle is just fine, unless the other side does it, but then what about the blow job, and who blew who, and what party are they in??

Keep it up boys, your credibility has nowhere to go but up.

That's not who he lied to. He lied to Paula Jone's attorneys (the judge ruled they could inquire about other allegations of sexual harrassment to to try to establish a pattern (and with Clinton there was a pattern), he lied to the judge, he lied to everyone in that courtroom.
