Whats funny is it used to be 10,000 at the Metrodome, then 20,000 today its 30,000. 10 years from now it would be 100,000 with Bison fans hanging from the roof.

So that's why the roof collapsed...

It was announced on the Mike McFeely show, direct from TCF stadium that at least 20,000 BISON fans will be at tomorrows game. it was based on known ticket sales through NDSU and UofM, A sell-out of NDSU room block at 10 downtown motels and demand for tailgate tickets at the fairgrounds.

We all know there will be more NDSU fans at this game, and there were more NDSU fans at the last one, than any Frozen Four teh hockies game in history.

It was a huge win. Minnesota, good or bad, was BCS/FBS. Everything in their favor, just like this Saturday: Scholarships, facilities, budget, equipment, fans, league, status, setting....they got it all.

If they'd been in the MVC then they wouldn't have finished above .500. As usual.

The Gophers would be below Northern Colorado. The Gophs had to come back at home to Miami (OH). If I was USC I would be embarrassed that the Gophers hung in so long. I suppose NDSU fans will think they can beat USC now that they crushed Minny. Beat your own conference mates before talking about being king of the world.

Beating a team at hockey is one thing, beating them at the Major College Sport of FOOTBALL is something else. As far as I know UND cant even schedule MInnesota in football!

Since the Middle of the NDSU D2 dynasty when UND fans deserted their football team in droves and you began to hear and read in the paper that UND didnt have football as the primary sport on campus NDSU has built their athletic program to what it is today. There is a slate of mens and womens programs that are competiting successfully at a national level.

NDSU beat the teams they put in front of them and will play anybody anyplace anytime. Ever since that news conference when UND quit thats more than UND football can say. They dont beat anybody and they just played Black Hills State which is fielding their worst team in over a decade.

I share your sentiment on the Gophers being god-awful, but let's not go crazy here..
