I agree. That 92-yard kickoff return when Sac State had just claimed the lead, changed all the momentum. SUU never looked back. Sac State put together a couple of good drives, but couldn't capitalize on them.

Sorenson going 30-37 with no interceptions (ok, no interceptions that counted) and both backs Menefee and Alexander had great games, also contributed a lot. I think the SUU defense did a descent job of containing one of the best running backs out there.

Hilliard had his runs, but falling behind late in the game completely neutralizes him. Instead of taking care of business, the Hornet will now have to hope SUU can make a good run this season to lessen impact of this loss. That is never a good position to be in.
