AZ's sig, if I understand it right, says it all. It's a warning, not an instruction manuel. AS is good as a dystopic novel on par with 1984 but is overlooked because it's associated with a cult of narcissistic weirdos who treat the book like some kind of Bible.

Well, since Rand lived under the heel of Communism, she is one person who should know.

The book wasn't so much about Communism itself, but a warning against the perversions of "Progressivism" in general. Looking now, her clairvoyance is rather scary.
