Ummm, just wow. We have some work to do before the Sac game.

I would but they are beating MSU 14-0 right now.kalm wrote:Tell that to NAU.SDHornet wrote: Yup. Just as I expected, TJ needs to be stopped somehow. EWU losses this one if he doesn't play. EWU plays like this next week and Sac should win. I think it will be a good game.

I have to agree with ya. But to be fair, I don't think this week was a very good indicator of where we're at as a team. We haven't played a worse game than that all season outside of the MSU game.SDHornet wrote:Yup. Just as I expected, TJ needs to be stopped somehow. EWU losses this one if he doesn't play. Still, Sac has a great chance of winning this one, especially since they have an additional week to prepare. We need to get some folks healthy and come to play.

It should be a good game. I was more curious to see if TJ would still have an impact and he obviously does. The EWU defense seemed to have a little problem with the scrambling ability of Orms, so Fleming's mobility may also present some problems. Plus unlike UNC, the Hornets can actually run the ball between the tackles. Who knows, we will see how this plays out in a week. Congrats on the win at UNC.EWURanger wrote:I have to agree with ya. I'm glad UNC lost. At this point, losing every game and getting Scott Downing fired is of primary importance to the program.EWURanger wrote:Wow. Not really sure what to say about that game. We were horrible up until the end. Big props to UNC, they were hungry as hell and deserved to win.

They absolutely pummelled MSU.SDHornet wrote:I would but they are beating MSU 14-0 right now.kalm wrote:

Montana, NAU, and UNC should all have beat us with as many mistakes as we made. But they didn't.
My point is that other than the second half of the MSU game where we played poorly as an entire team, we have beat WSU without Taiwan, and beat NAU with a beat up and ineffective Taiwan. We can win without him, even when we make mistakes.
But I'd much prefer to cut back on the mistakes and have a healthy Taiwan.

Wait a minute, you guys don't get to claim that you made more mistakes than we did, I think we are clearly the winners in that category this year.kalm wrote:They absolutely pummelled MSU.SDHornet wrote: I would but they are beating MSU 14-0 right now.

We better come out firing against Sac though. Can't wait, should be a great one in Cheney, and the second sell-out of the season.
