No, the reason it's going to be a pissing match is because you threatened to (and probably did for all we know) ban BF because he was talking a lot of shit to you, despite you talking a lot of shit right back. And then you deleted the threads when people called you out. People over here could give a shit less about your argument, it's how you handled it that is a problem. If you brought the threads back, and admitted that what you did was unacceptable, the issue would be resolved and we could move on.

How am I supposed to know who deleted the other one? Who did then, and why?

They we're moved, they were deleting. Obviously not permanently, but they were deleted from all regular user-viewable forums.

We have a trash can, and that's exactly what that thread ended up being. Trash. So it was thrown in there. End of story.

I enjoy sites like these, ones that do not (technically) belong to any team. You know, different opinions spawns great discussion and I think it is a given that Falkin has, at times, some very different opinions. He is a great debater and great at explaining where he is coming from. Not everyone enjoys his style (I've gone around with him a few times), but you cannot escape that some great discussion has happened from posting his opinion. My main fear on coming over here, at first, was the idea that this site was started by Griz fans and moderated by Griz fans. I was concerned about this becoming another eGriz site. I have enjoyed the fact that, to a point, this has not been the case.

As far as personal attacks, these have been going on for some time. To expect the moderators to be immune from this is insane. That said, I think the style here has separated the thick skinned from the thin skinned. Personal attacks have been allowed and I'm pretty sure they will continue to be. If you want to, stop all the personal attacks, but then you take away the "edge" that this site has over AGS. A little bit of "edge, a little bit of nastiness can be tolerated at times, can be construed as a "badge of honor". Last week, I endured personal attacks from my co-workers when Portland State played Oregon, but I also gave it back to a certain extent. It's football people, and there is a high level of emotion involved within any college football fan. Let it go.

My opinion only, Will, but in reading the posts involved, I thought you were doing as good a job as anyone in going back and forth with the Falkin. He is very difficult but does a great job supporting his position, but you were hanging right there with him. I thought that, when you started using your mod power and threatening to ban him was where it got really ugly and was pretty much uncalled for. I hope that, when you and I disagree on something, that we can have a good discussion without the threat of banning. Just my two cents.

Also, sometimes it shows who the better man is to apologize and move on.
