1. Kitties too high
2. Mr. Tiger is too low. (And a DB is NOT likely to produce a secondary last in the league.)
3. Personally, I believe Sac will be higher, but that quibble isn't big enough to outweigh the first two.
4. I'll keep my QB of the Year to myself as even my fellow Hornets will smack me for that.

Favorable conference Schedule, winnable homecoming game vs the Aggies, 2 KNOWN losses, Im predicting Weber to start 6-1 Anything can happen, nobody expected Weber to do what they did in 2008, who knows maybe this year to

Weber will start out 3-2 at best, with a real chance to go 2-3 or 1-4 if Higgins sucks it up more than usual. A lot more pressure on him to perform consistently this year, and we all saw how he performs under pressure last year.
2-3 or 1-4 in conf????????? we will only beat ISU? or is that a loss too?
September 11: Northern Colorado
September 18: @ Sacramento State
October 2: EWU
October 16: @ Idaho State
This QB that "sucks it up more than usual" is the reason WSU has been ranked for the past 2 seasons and his now a 3 time Payton candidate. He's passed for almost 10,000 yards so far. I'm am not sure if he sucks too bad. You should just hope he throws a lot of picks.
Weber will have the best receiving core in the sky and our Oline will be the bomb as usual and will be complimented with the best full-back in the conf.

I didn't say conference, I just said 2-3 or 1-4, so assume the first 5 games:
@ Boston College - L
Northern Colorado - W
@ Sac State - 50/50
UC Davis - Should W, but very possible L
Eastern Washington - L

A fan of a school whose boys hoops team took out North Carolina says Boston College isn't at least a POSSIBLE football win? I'm SHOCKED!

I gotta disagree. You lost too much talent.

I doubt it. Weber is ALWAYS among the second-tier or higher contenders. They'll find a way. Maybe not to finish higher than the Griz. But they'll definitely be in the top four with at LEAST a 7-4 record.
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

BS. They went 1-10 in 2004, the year I started following the Big Sky. They've only just recently found some success, otherwise they've been a MOSTLY middle of the pack team like Sac State is presently. Weber will be back to mediocrity this year with the losses of Smith and Toone and Nakamura.

SE knows exactly what he is talking about, mostly.
"What I'm saying is: You might have taken care of your wolf problem, but everyone around town is going to think of you as the crazy son of a bitch who bought land mines to get rid of wolves."
I feel the same way. Toone was a playmaker and his loss will be hard to fill.
They also had a lineman transfer to Hawaii and their all-conference corner back graduated and Smith and Bolen (mormon mission). They do have the best coach in the conference, but I just think they lost too much.
1.Montana ______________8-0_____11-0____ New coach, same Big Sky results 2.Weber State___________6-2_____7-4_____ Can Higgins cut down on the INTs? 3.Eastern Washington__6-2_____8-3_____ Taiwan Jones needs to get more than 13.5 carries per game 4.Northern Arizona ____5-3_____6-5_____ Where have I seen this before? 5.Montana State _______4-4_____6-5_____ Not enough playmakers on offense 6.Sacramento State ____3-5_____5-6 ____ Hornet D needs to improve greatly 7.Northern Colorado___3-5_____5-6_____ The defense could be quite good 8.Portland State________1-7_____1-10____ Brutal schedule leads to a tortuous first season for Nigel Burton 9.Idaho State ___________0-8_____1-10____ Losing two good kickers offsets possible gains elsewhere
Same playoff teams as last year.
Weber & EWU could be forced to play Thanksgiving weekend.
Tiebreakers (head-to-head) are included.
Hooray there is someone out there besides Weberwildcat and I giving Weber a little love
Eastern Washington. The man's name is 台灣
Montana. Griz do what they've done a lot lately
Weber State. It's purple. like SFSU
Sac State. BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ it's not a vuvuzela! it the HORNETS
Portland State. You know why? They play Oregon and Masoli is looking for a home.
NAU. Lumberjacks the coolest thing not Humboldt State
Montana State. You don;t like them this low i know, but seriously the rest of the west catches up.
Northern Colorado. Is there an echo in here?
Idaho State. Sucks to be last, but if its gotta be someone it's gotta be Idaho.

You really think that EWU has enough to stand alone atop the BSC, RED TURF ASIDE?

If it's PSU Masoli's waiting for, he'll have to get in line behind a couple good quarterbacks we already have. He wouldn't want to drop down to I-AA, certainly not for a rebuilding team, and in any case we wouldn't touch him after UO dumped him.
