They have improved. ???? Really? I'd like to see how...

It can get a lot better, to be sure, but better than under the Bush nightmare.

If Republicans would offer enough candidates that weren't beholden to the extremist radical Evangelical right, then they would get some consideration. But until then, they are bastards in my book.
I'll admit I haven't followed this contest, because it doesn't affect me that much. I can't vote in it, and I won't tell people in Mass. how to vote. With that said, is this candidate really tied to the "extremist Evangelical right?" If so, how in the hell is it possible to win in Mass? Sounds as if it's the Democrats who need to put up better candidates.

I just find it funny that someone who is so "open minded," you're once again showing an inability to look outside of yourself. It's all about what can be offered for your agenda. If that's how you choose to see life, go for it. But, you're going to be hating a lot of "bastards" for the rest of your life. I mean, let's be honest, you're not going to vote for any Republican.

BTW, there is just as many liberals beholden to the "extremist, radical, non-Evangelical left." It just so happens, you're ok with that. The country is polarized, and will continue to be so as long as people are continued to be elected based on party affiliation and voters not voting for what works, but for themselves.

You don't realize that Obama has basically told the left to piss off. The far left has little or no influence on Obama.
Then explain the sell-out to the unions on the so-called "cadillac" health care plans...

Look, the numbers don't lie - Coakley should be cruising in Mass. Corzine should've won comfortably in New Jersey. Your Senate majority leader should be lapping the field in Nevada. All of this, and I mean all of this, as a direct consequence of Obama swinging the country too far to the left, as he's spending far too much money on issues that have little impact on the number one issue for EVERYONE - the economy.

That's because Obama and the democrats, working in concert with his lapdog media, sold the populace a bill of goods in the 2008 campaign with "change" and "hope," of which they have produced neither. When people lose "hope" and realize they were taken for a ride they tend to react adversely to the liars, it is only natural.

We'll see how long Barry Sortero's coattails are on Tuesday night. He's campaigning for Coakley today. 8-)

That means somebody at the White House believes she will win, because if there was a good chance she would lose Obama would stay away.

So far, economically speaking, Obama is slightly to the right of Eisenhower, somewhere in between Clinton and Nixon.

Describing him as a leftist is what you get from 15 years of Rush Limbaugh defining politics. :ugeek:

Looks as if the Dems are in full scramble mode.

Apparently yesterday, Kennedy kept saying it was none other than... George Bush's fault! Wow, how original!

Oh yeah, that and he kept referring to Coakley as Marcia!! What a douchebag.

I would post the link, but the site is really slow and keeps timing out.

Kennedy?
Yes, it was Patrick Kennedy, and here is the link:

http://hotlineoncall.nationaljournal.co ... ma_ral.php
Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-RI), speaking with a gaggle of reporters after the event, said that while state Sen. Scott Brown (R) offers voters a quick fix, in reality, the problems created by "George Bush and his cronies" are not so easily solved.
"If you think there's magic out there and things can be turned around overnight, then you would vote for someone who could promise you that, like Scott Brown," Kennedy said. "If you don't, if you know that it takes eight years for George Bush and his cronies to put our country into this hole ... then you know we have a lot of digging to do, but some work needs to be done and this president's in the process of doing it and we need to get Marcia Coakley to help him to do that."

Wow. Eight years for George Bush to put us in the hole and Obama triples it in only one year.

See, Obama is the messiah.

There are very few leftists in the U.S. How many votes did the US Communist Party candidate get during the last presidential election?

Top down economic stimulus through the banks and healthcare reform that benefits for-profit insurance and big pharma are a continuation of trickle down theory.

Whether it's wiretapping, war, or the economy Obama on most of the big issues is at the least centrist, and you can make an argument for right of center.

.
That position would be "Corporatist". Left and right have used that. Trickle down actually has less to do with (in theory) national corporations and more to do with entrepreneurs, with out regard to their specific industry, having more money to invest to provide jobs. Not even similar approaches.

This is really priceless. A gift from the Gods.

The radical left-wing president has turned into a miserable failure, and now his far left-wing conspirators are throwing him under the bus and trying their best to paint him as "right of center"...somewhere between Eisenhower and Nixon? Let the Reagan analogies begin.....

Clueless doesn't even begin to describe it.
