Congratulations to these new 250 US citizens who did it the right way

Sounds like Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, who according to ICE wasn’t even the target of the operation, but 3 other illegals he was with, decided to FA, and he FO.
https://redstate.com/nick-arama/2026/07 ... a-n2204197Dems Embarrass Themselves on ICE Shooting - Plus Their Party's Shutdowns May Have Led to a Big Issue
…..On July 7, 2026, at approximately 6:50 AM CT, ICE law enforcement attempted to conduct a vehicle stop as part of a targeted enforcement operation to arrest an illegal alien. The driver of the vehicle, Lorenzo Salgado Araujo—an illegal alien from Mexico—attempted to evade arrest. From information we are receiving, he rammed an ICE law enforcement vehicle, refused to follow multiple verbal commands, and weaponized his vehicle in an attempt to run over an ICE law enforcement officer resulting in our officer firing his weapon in self-defense.
The driver was struck, and emergency services were immediately contacted. The driver was transported to the hospital where he passed away from his injuries….
….. The ICE officer who fatally shot Araujo was not wearing a body camera because officers in that field office were not yet equipped with them, according to a DHS spokesperson.
The officers in Houston "had not been issued body-worn cameras due to back-to-back Democrat shutdowns," the spokesperson said, blaming a series of government funding lapses that arose when Congress failed to pass measures to fund department and agency operations. There was a 43-day government shutdown in late 2025, as well as a separate 76-day DHS shutdown that started in February and ended in April. The spokesperson said that the shutdown interrupted the body camera procurement process for ICE field office…..

That might be true but ICE has demonstrated repeatedly that they will lie to cover their asses so why should any rational person (i.e. a non Qult member) believe them?BDKJMU wrote: ↑Sun Jul 12, 2026 12:00 pm…Lorenzo Salgado Araujo—an illegal alien from Mexico—attempted to evade arrest. Lol then provide evidence from someone there that this didn’t happen as ICE stated.

I know what ICE claimed happened. Eye witness accounts disagree with claims that there was no damage to the vehicle that was rammed and no agents were in front of, or behind the suspects vehicle.BDKJMU wrote: ↑Sun Jul 12, 2026 12:00 pm…Lorenzo Salgado Araujo—an illegal alien from Mexico—attempted to evade arrest. Done - Houston ICE shooting witnesses claim driver didn’t try to ram agents
If ICE is willing to lie in court, they'll have no qualms about lying to the press. The three men who were with a 52-year-old Houston man when he was fatally shot by an immigration agent earlier this week said Lorenzo Salgado Araujo never tried to run over anyone and that agents repeatedly fired into the vehicle from the side of the van, an attorney representing two of the men said during a news conference on Friday.
Hugo Balderas Ibarra, an immigration attorney representing two of the three men who were passengers in the van driven by Salgado Araujo, said he talked to the three men on Thursday at a detention center where they were being held for deportation.
“My clients reiterated that at no point was there ever an agent standing in front of the vehicle, nor was an agent ever placed in the line of danger,” Balderas Ibarra. “That is simply false, and I believe my clients are telling the truth.”

Why can’t you just admit that ICE is going a wonderful and outstanding jobUNI88 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2026 7:44 amDone - Houston ICE shooting witnesses claim driver didn’t try to ram agents

It’s definitely not an easy job and we have cowards like you that sit around criticizing them from your patio deck and flooding the Internet with falsehoods

Just check in with your local ICE office and ask them if you can go on a patrol with them …UNI88 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2026 11:11 amThat's your opinion and you're entitled to it.Caribbean Hen wrote:

-Try to flee from law enforcement
-Commit additional crimes (these 3 were wanted by ICE, unknown if just immigration or additional crimes).
