“Listen, Trump’s favorite food is toxins. His blood type is honey mustard,” he cracked. “I’m glad RFK is working on this. None of it is going to get done.”
...
“When Trump finally figures out he’s trying to take away his Doritos, mark my words — Bobby is out and Diddy is in.”

Ummmmmm because population growth, doesn’t operating within an economic market, government spending often provides an ROI that continues for decades.

Huh??? Is that a corollary of Modern Monetary Theory? All government spend is good and the more government spend the better? Government spending certainly can be a good thing and can certainly have an ROI that extends a long time, but there's also certainly wasteful government spending that can go the other way and have a negative ROI going out a long time. The absolutes on either side (cut all spending versus all spending is good) are clearly wrong, the work comes in sorting through it and figuring out what to cut and how to do it. The idea of DOGE isn't wrong, it's how it goes about it and what it actually does that you can find fault.

Relax, Milton Friedman. I was merely answering the dumb question in the meme….and you still begrudgingly agreed with me.GannonFan wrote: ↑Thu May 29, 2025 8:05 amHuh???
