Mike Johnson has a new headache in the narrowly divided House: From the Politics Desk
Johnson sent shockwaves around Capitol Hill when he decided to oust Rep. Mike Turner, R-Ohio — a staunch NATO supporter who has aggressively pushed for U.S. aid to Ukraine — as chair of the House Intelligence Committee and replace him with Rep. Rick Crawford, R-Ark., a conservative who voted against the most recent Ukraine aid package.

It’s a move that appeased conservatives and allies of President-elect Donald Trump, but infuriated the GOP’s more moderate members.

One lawmaker who, like Turner, is a member of the Main Street Caucus, said the unexpected swap at the intelligence panel has eroded trust within the Republican conference and could make it much harder to pass Trump’s agenda. With two House Republicans up for positions in the Trump administration, the party’s majority could soon shrink to 217-215 — giving Johnson just a one-seat cushion on party-line votes.
...
“I think Turner will burn the House down,” the second lawmaker said. “He will be a no vote on everything. I mean, he just got totally f-----.”
Actions have consequences and this could be nothing or it could be significant.

Turner essentially telling johnson and trump to fvck off and voting against everything would be hilarious.

Dude, that's just weird. If I'm available and if one of us is going to the grocery store, why wouldn't you go? Are you saying you don't want to spend time with your wife? Why have a wife if you don't want to hang with her? :coffee:

I do all the grocery shopping for the family. I sure do see many not-real-men when I go.

Dude, you can do what you want I was simply stating that in my immediate group of friends and acquaintances there isn't one person that goes grocery shopping with their wife. I don't do it because I don't want to spend 3 hours "shopping". When I go grocery shopping its 20 mins in and out, and 10mins of that time is standing in line.

Who spends 3 hours grocery shopping? The vast majority of it is stuff you buy every week. I have 3 boys (not all at home now with college) but it would never take me more than 40 minutes to grocery shop for the week. If you're standing in line for 10 min either go self checkout or shop at a better grocery store with more cashiers. And again, I like spending time with my wife. Maybe those that don't didn't marry the right woman?

I love spending time with my wife, its just not happening at the grocery store. My wife is the reason impulse items are in the doorway and checkout line. I can give her $500 for groceries and she will come home with $200 more in impulse items and she will stand around talking to people about it or produce or bread and she can crush 2 or 3 hours in a store 2 times a day

A dude licking ice cream is a feminine quality and indicator he is gay. You eat of drink (milkshake or float) your ice cream.

I’ll use a straw if its one of the normal plastic ones. Half the time though, esp in blue states or cities, you get that cardboard straw crap. Can’t stand drinking out of fvucking paper. They get soggy and nasty tasting and collapse. Whoever invented them should be shot and the damn things should be illegal.
End of rant. Now I feel better.

The happy birthday thing is ok, but it should be matter if fact and not delivered with flair. Good excuse to go drinking, although you (and any other buds) got to pick up the tab.

Whoa! I went fishing for a Bobcat and hooked a BDK instead.

What kind of a man with severe peripheral neuropathy in his feet is worried about coming off as gay? You’re not scared of a little foot play, are ya BDK? Are ya?

I go from numbness to electric nerve pain in a heartbeat. Having a trained professional dig out the toe nails, cut them, and provide light massage is the bees knees I tell ya.

So what if I have her apply a little polish? it’s beige with only a hint of pink. I think purple would look fantastic on you!

Ok, you get a pass on the pedi because of a medical reason. The polish is still gay, so thats still a point off your man card.

Long read on this violent vegan trans group, I only posted. fraction of it. The 2 parents were murdered in Chester Heighta, about a dozen miles from where I live..
As Zizian ‘cult’ leader is arrested, here’s what the vegan transgender group believes — and other disturbing deaths members are linked to
Image
Image
Mysterious alleged Zizian cult leader Jack Lasota was arrested alongside an accomplice in Maryland on Monday.

The elusive head of the largely transgender, vegan group had gone as far as to apparently fake his own death in 2022 to avoid scrutiny. However, at the time of Lasota’s arrest he was wanted in both California and Pennsylvania.

Taken into custody alongside Lasota were alleged followers Daniel Blank, 26, and Michelle Zajko, 32, a person of interest in the double murder of her parents – both fatally shot in their heads at their home on New Year’s Eve 2022.

Their deaths are two of four linked to the cult – which is based around LaSota, 34, who previously went by Ziz online – alongside an elderly landowner in California and a border patrol agent killed in a shootout with another member of the group in Vermont on Jan. 20.

Police say members of the Zizian group could number as high as 30 and they appear to be mainly young trans women who are math and computer whizzes, who previously worked at NASA, Google and on Wall Street.

They gather around Ziz, who was born male but now identifies as female and grew up in Alaska before moving to the Bay Area. There he gathered acolytes who believe in the same eccentric and arcane blend of Silicon Valley-driven Rationalist movement theories and animal rights.

Both investigators and people who know the Zizians told The Post many of them have been estranged from their parents, some are thought to be on the autism spectrum and that they are an anti-sex group who take hormones for their gender transitions.

The Zizians are involved in esoteric practices like “unihemispheric sleep”— a practice not dissimilar to hypnosis where adherents are told to sleep with one eye open in a state of chronic exhaustion.

The practice is meant to prove the two hemispheres of the brain are distinct identities, with one side thought to be female and one male, one side thought to be good and the other evil. They two sides “often desire to kill each other,” according to Lasota’s blog.

“They talk as if they really believe they have supernatural powers and they believe movies like ‘The Matrix’ are real and they can manipulate reality,” an investigator familiar with the Zizians told The Post…..

Joe Rogan’s Infatuation With Elon Musk Is Angering His Fans
A 1.5 million subscriber subreddit dedicated to Rogan — where fans of his podcast congregate to discuss the show and any other Rogan-related drama — has in recent days been overrun with memes and other posts complaining about Musk, the Trump administration and Rogan’s recent regular, full-throated defenses of the work of DOGE, the Musk-led initiative to slash federal spending.

“Joe and his anti-elite billionaire friends are becoming the swamp they’ve always hated,”

“Joe is state run propagandist media. Very nice.”

“I seriously can’t even listen to him anymore. It sucks so much man. I really loved this show.”

Thats why they lost

Rogan is a liberal and the party left him. Joe Rogan is the Joe Rogan they say the left needs. But the left can NEVER have anyone like Joe Rogan because they are not open minded and will only let him talk about the things they allow him to talk about. That show has already failed before it even airs.

I can totally relate because I have always leaned left, that why I can see what Trump is doing is a much needed thing. Trump (just like Elon) is just another Democrat that the left, left.

Here's a conspiracy theory for ya.
I've been wondering why Trump has allowed Elon free reign to upstage him and do what he wants. I'm sure he has to know the public has been calling Trump Elon's lapdog. And then there's the Time cover with Elon sitting behind the presidential desk. Trump should be fuming, but during Elon's press meeting in the White House, Trump just sat there like a castrated sad clown while Elon's kid told him to shut up.

But why? Why would Trump let himself be upstaged and mocked - especially by a child? He already won the election. He doesn't need Elon's money anymore.

But then Jess told me something Elon's kid said during an interview with Tucker Carlson.
When asked if Trump would win the election, the kid says "yes" and then says "they’ll never know."

During the election, I knew something was up when Trump began accusing Kamala for cheating in Pennsylvania. That's very specific. And historically, he only blames others for things he's doing.

As a programmer, I know anything is hackable. An 11 year old girl at the hacking convention DefCon in Vegas was able to hack into a voting booth in 10 minutes. And that was back in 2018!

And while the voting machines aren’t connected to the internet per-se, it only takes 10 minutes to pop in a USB and get out. And it just so happens there was a bomb threat in PA where they emptied the building. But it wasn’t just one building, it was 67!

Of the 67 locations, 56 were in 11 counties that voted for Joe Biden in the 2020 election, including the eight most populated. Those high-population Democratic counties include voting locations for Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Detroit, Michigan; Phoenix, Arizona; Atlanta, Georgia; and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Hacker kids do this stuff for the fun of it. Imagine if they were getting paid millions of dollars? And now, Musk has surrounded himself with these kids who have notoriously gained access to federal records, our records, with ease.

Four hours before election results were called, Elon announced that Trump was the winner and he had an "app" to prove it.
And then, there's this... Trump is a complete idiot and actually said this out loud after the election..."He (Musk) knows those computers better than anybody. All those computers. Those vote-counting computers," Trump told the crowd. "And we ended up winning Pennsylvania like in a landslide."

Trump even said repeatedly before the election, "I don't need your vote." It's a weird brag that indicated he had already won.

I had been saying Trump was going to cheat long before the election. But the comment was instantly shot down by both sides. Conservatives thought we were being hypocrites, and progressives thought we should be above Trump-style conspiracies and gracefully accept the outcome.

Looking into this now, I'm not surprised I wasn't the only one. The internet is all over this stuff.

Will this info ever come out? Will it even matter? I have no doubt Elon's guys are at the top of their game, and the only way this will ever see the light of day is if one of these guys talks.

But for right now, it's obvious to me why Trump is letting Elon do whatever he wants. Because all it would take is for Elon to turn to a camera and say a few words to the world, "I helped Trump steal the election."

Boom.
This conspiracy is just as believable as the 2020 election was stolen qonspiracy that trump spread ...
