game over
Hail mary incomplete
19-13 IU
Good showing by EKU. They should do fine in the OVC this year if they figure out the QB situation and stick to one guy.

Tonights Recap:
Tonights FCS games:
Nova 27
Temple 24
Big win for Nova over FBS in-town rivals... the one we'll be talking about for awhile, well done Wildcats!
Nooga 30
Glenville State 13
Nooga cruises over a D-II foe (enjoy it while it lasts Moc fans...)
Maine 34
St. Cloud State 27
Overtime
Top 25 Maine nearly chokes away their season opener against the D-II Huskies
CCU 0
Kent State 18
Just a hunch, this game was even more boring in person than it was watching it on gamecast zzz.
SEMO 72
Quincy 3
Quincy can't recapture the magic... Indiana State - forget non-schollie, just drop the program... yikes.
UT-Martin 56
Iowa Wesleyan 0
The Skyhawks feast on cupcakes
NDSU 17
Iowa State 34
Bison blow HUGE opportunity by fumbling in the end zone early, can't contain I States big-play spread option
EKU 13
Indiana 19
Colonels fumble on IU 5 yard line with under 10 minutes to go... IU benefits from generous Big Ten officiating on a 3rd down play on ensuing drive
Murray 66
KY Wesleyan 10
mmm... cupcakes
So. Dak 52
Wm. Penn 0
SUU 36
Dixie St. 7
T-Birds overcome some early sluggishness to handle Dixie
Ill. State 6
E. Illinois 31
Am I missing something? or was this a bit of a surprise at this margin? thoughts?
W. Illinois 35
SHSU-Huntsville 28
Leathernecks stonewall the Kats at the goal line... big win for Western

St. Cloud has been, for as long as I can remember one of those teams that, if you sleep on them... they'll sting you. They were in the NCC with the Bison for a lot of years, and it always seemed like they were game, year in, year out...SUUTbird wrote:SUU beat Dixie State 36-7and congrats to NOVA! Any loss by them is a good thing in my book. The more they lose the more frustrated TT will get. And the less he can extol the virtues of having brought in another FBS QB (Joseph) to fill the hole.TwinTownBisonFan wrote:W. Illinois 35

Twin: The CCU game was 2-0 late into the 3rd quarter. It was a good game. Our defense played lights out, but too bad our special teams and offense resembled a middle school team.

Re: 9/3 Game night thread
That's not possible, he will only focus his attention on Texas Southern more. When SHSU starts losing it's SWAC time for him.CatMom wrote:Any loss by them is a good thing in my book.
