Don't know how I missed this one. Never trained Seals, trained with them. Went on a bike ride with them. We were all there for the bike race.

Hey COVID is surging...and oh yeah, there just happens to be a new booster coming to market soon. No coincidence though.

Well, it is the start of that season, but the data showing any sort of issue is non-existent. Now just wait for Biden to impose some sort of mask mandate.houndawg wrote: ↑Sun Aug 20, 2023 2:25 pmClear proof that the virus and the gubmint are working together.SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Sun Aug 20, 2023 9:07 am Hey COVID is surging...and oh yeah, there just happens to be a new booster coming to market soon. Re: Coronavirus COVID-19
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/arti ... ancer.htmlMask study published by NIH suggests N95 Covid masks may expose wearers to dangerous level of toxic compounds linked to seizures and cancer
The surgical N95 mask has been held up as the gold standard when it comes to protecting against Covid.
But a study quietly re-shared by the National Institutes of Health in spring suggests the tight-fitting mask may expose users to dangerous levels of toxic chemicals.
Researchers from Jeonbuk National University in South Korea looked at two types of disposable medical-grade masks, as well as several reusable cotton masks.
The study found that the chemicals released by these masks had eight times the recommended safety limit of toxic volatile organic compounds (TVOCs).
Inhaling TVOCs has been linked to health issues like headaches and nausea, while prolonged and repeated has been linked to organ damage and even cancer.
'It is clear that particular attention must be paid to the VOCs associated with the use of KF94 [medical] masks their effects on human health,' the researchers wrote in the study published April.
However, there are ways to reduce the danger, they said. 'Exposure can be significantly reduced if a mask is opened and left to sit for at least 30 min,' the researchers wrote.
This suggests that the packaging of these masks could play a role in the amount of chemicals they have.
The study was published in the journal Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety and on the NIH's website......

Cases are on the rise. Two school districts in Kentucky (IIRC) had to go remote.
Time for us to get boosters and extend social distance again.

Relax, silly. I was talking about my family. I wouldn’t expect you to do anything that involved a collective/community term like “we”.

I bought in the first time then realized how stupid I was half way through. It will not happen again. There is literally nothing that makes sense about this virus after the facts came out. The way the government granted immunity to big pharma immediately proves Biden sold everyone a fraud.

Are there even boosters for this most recent variant? I thought the word was the booster that's about to be issued doesn't address this variant. You'd be getting a booster for something that's not out there.

I’m not sure but the wife and I are both immunocompromised and a second updated bivalent dose is available. Not sure to what degree it will protect against the latest strain (I know they’re working on it). I’ll do some more digging and ask our docs.

Re: Coronavirus COVID-19
If my memory serves me right, this study essentially said that if you got the booster, death from non COVID was reduced by 95%
Regardless, this shows how long corrections take and the FDA already used this bad study to decide on boosters.

But— here is the key— this method is also unproven. It has not been validated. To do so would requiring comparing the new estimate from this method and comparing it against randomized trial’s estimate. That is validation 101, and has not been met.
As such we still don’t know the real effect of boosters, and how much they reduce mortality — particularly in young people who have the least to gain and most to lose.
Ultimately, the FDA failed the American people, and the initial NEJM paper on booster efficacy withheld vital information. Both of these are a scandal, worthy of correction.

What mandate?
You can’t honestly blame Biden for trump’s actions so let’s correct Bobcat’s last sentence. It should state “the way the government granted immunity to big pharma immediately proves trump sold everyone a fraud.”

And they pushed for states to mandate state employees, schoolkids, etc get the shot. They tried to mandate for most of the population to have a shot where people had no recourse to sue if they had adverse side effects.
