Is someone here denying his freedom to believe? Take a deep breath. There’s really no threat here other than a critique of political beliefs. Note I’m no longer criticizing as promised. Just providing context as requested.
Religious beliefs ≠ political beliefs.
How is mocking someone's religious beliefs different than mocking someone's race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, etc? And before you give me religious beliefs are a choice argument, isn't religion a protected class deserving of the same protections?
I'm not above mocking religious figures such as Jerry Falwell Jr but I mock them for their actions, greed and hypocrisy not because they're religious. Just like I mock Al Sharpton not because he's African American but because of what he says and does.
