POTUS Debate #1

Post by Ibanez »

Time/Place: Tuesday, September 29, at Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio

Is anyone going to watch this revival of Grumpy Old Men? I think we all expect Trump to be bombastic, insulting and obfuscating any criticism while Biden will trying hard to remember canned lines and hopefully not sound clueless.

Either way - I doubt either performance will sway anyone on the fence. :twocents: :coffee:

This thing's going to be a train wreck. But then again, this election has been a train wreck since Trump was going to be the incumbent and once the Dems decided to forego a real candidate and rolled out old Joe. I'm going to try to watch, and I'm going to hate every minute of it.

These two are a perfect combination to have a debate where each candidate asks the other the questions, instead of a moderator. Now THAT would be great.

I predict the debate will be called off at the last second because Biden refuses to allow an independent third party inspection of his ears for ear pieces...and Trump refuses the same independent inspection for hair pieces...

Of course trip ain't watching. He doesn't want to watch any narrative that might disprove his theory that Biden is "perfectly competent" and stable and 100% mentally there.

Dude, I've watched and listened to tens and tens of hours of Biden, Trump, Harris, Pence, and every god damn politician out there during the last year. I just listened to Trump speak for two hours on Friday, and Biden for a little less the day before. I always have C-SPAN on until lunchtime, so I hear the Congress critters too.

I've voted, so who really cares if I watch the debate or not? Maybe I'll watch later, and I'm sure I'll catch both dudes on my normal listening routines anyway, but I'm essentially done for the season until I work the polls.

And yes, I voted for Biden. Green Party wasn't on Virginia's ballot, so that solidified it.

Would anyone be surprised if they just pulled their dicks out, Wallace measured, with the results flashed across the screen?

The race for President of Boca Vista Phase 2 featured two younger, more spry candidates, than the dementia-heavy one we're going to be tortured with tonight.

And Biden the Biden campaign has asked for 2 breaks at the 30 minute intervals. Trump campaign has refused, as breaks aren't the norm. Translation. Biden will have an ear piece, and can't go for 90 minutes..

Trump Biden (77 10.3 months (birthday 11/20)) vs Trump (74 3.5 months (birthday 6/14). Combined age 152 years, 1.8 months. The oldest combined ages ever for a debate..

Drinking game...take a drink each time Biden says:

-Something about there being fewer covid deaths if Hillary or Obama were president
-"Hairy legs"
-"Systemic Racism"
-"Peaceful Transition of Power"
-"Diversity is our strength"
-"Equal Work for Equal Pay"
-"my running mate is a woman of cullah" (max if 10 to avoid alcohol poisoning)
-"my administration will be the most diverse ever"
Celebrate Diversity.*
