I'm not a Trump supporter so it doesn't do anything for me but I don't understand why it's creepy. How is it worse than any singing in support of any other cause or at a rally? Maybe your dislike for Trump and his supporters has predisposed you to dislike anything they do.

You’re trying too hard to be neutral. Stoically voting for Trump out of some sense of preventing a moderate right statist Biden takeover is one thing. Celebration singing of Trump is a whole other level. It’s bat shit crazy.

And yes, I’m sure you can find Democratic examples of the same.

I don’t recall Bernie Patridge Family level singing but if it happened similar to this I’d poke fun of it too.

Would Bernie have been Trump if elected?

I find most people's political passions to be mostly crazy. It's very hard to find any redeeming people in politics today, and the yelling of the zealots on either side of the aisle that the opposing side are Nazis/evil/not worth the oxygen they consume doesn't make it any less crazy. Diogenes was crazy, but he hit the mark with the lantern idea.

Democrats have never done anything as bat shit crazy as Republicans did when they nominated Trump then rallied behind them. The Democrats have never done anything THAT bad. I would be like nominating Al Sharpton to be President. And actually it's getting to the point where I don't that THAT would be as bad as the Republicans have done with making Trump their standard. It's really bad.

By "bad" I meant the Democrats have never done anything that bat shit crazy. I hadn't thought about State and local governments when I made the statement. I was thinking of the national party. But now, on thinking about it, my opinion remains the same even if I do think about State and local governments.

The Democrats have never done anything as bat shit crazy as the Republicans have done with this Trump thing.

And for sure the national Democrat party has never done anything as bad in terms of choosing a standard bearer.

This country really, really needs to stamp this Trumpism thing out. Those of us who are rational need to see to it that people who support Trump are marginalized and do not have impact upon the future direction of this country.
