Srsly. His investigation has lasted longer than Mueller's and not a single indictment
McCabe seemed like a possibility. I guess they'll get that lawyer. Anyone remember his name without googling?

By soon I mean before November.Skjellyfetti wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 9:44 pmSrsly. His investigation has lasted longer than Mueller's and not a single indictment

Don't know, don't care. It's up to the DOJ to reinstate any faith in the justice system. I'm sure there's a wide range of people that can be charge with something (sound familiar? you were basically pimping that approach for over 3 years in this thread). I trust Barr and Durham will decide what is appropriate.Skjellyfetti wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 9:55 pm Who do you think seems like a possibility besides that lawyer? Is that gonna be it?
Doesn’t mean it was true. He signed that as he was facing financial ruin & they threatened to go after his kid.Skjellyfetti wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 9:38 pmBecause he admitted to it.
Beginning of the document:the United States of America and the defendant, MICHAEL T. FLYNN, stipulate and agree that the following facts are true and accurate

Which judge? Sullivan? The Reagan/Bush/Clinton appointed judge?
Yes. Nobody ever plead guilty to a process crime when they faced financial ruin.Skjellyfetti wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 5:49 am
Well, it is sworn document in court. Sounds like you're the one trying to do mind reading.
There’s that critical document that got “lost”...Skjellyfetti wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 3:52 pm Well, Susan Rice's entire email has been released. Not the smoking gun some expected.
I think about the only thing that hasn't been released are the Flynn - Kislyak transcripts. Time to do that.
It does make it harder for Obama and Susan Rice to keep saying they had no idea Flynn was being investigated though.Skjellyfetti wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 3:52 pm Well, Susan Rice's entire email has been released. Not the smoking gun some expected.

When did Obama and Susan Rice say they had no idea Flynn was being investigated? Sounds like they've been saying that a lot?SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 4:22 pmIt does make it harder for Obama and Susan Rice to keep saying they had no idea Flynn was being investigated though.Skjellyfetti wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 3:52 pm Well, Susan Rice's entire email has been released. Old Ben Rhodes, plus her statements. Kiss Rice as VP goodbye.Skjellyfetti wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 4:50 pmWhen did Obama and Susan Rice say they had no idea Flynn was being investigated? Sounds like they've been saying that a lot?SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 4:22 pm

I said her statements as well. Plus, Rice was Rhodes boss.Skjellyfetti wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 6:37 pm Oh. What you meant was that Ben Rhodes said that.
Did Ben Rhodes know there was an investigation of Flynn? Did he know about Obama and Rice's meeting? Seems like he wasn't aware and assumed they weren't aware either. Yawn.

Reek’s gone from Democracy-destroying conspiracies between Russians and Americans to quibbling over how a former NSA should be penalized for lying to the Feds about a legitimate phone call with the Russian Amb.
In a few weeks it will be about how it isn’t customary or legit for incoming natsec advisors to talk to foreign contacts before being seated
or about out of control judges not being out of control

Oh I'm pushing it, but still stand by my original prediction. No Russian collusion and no Deep Stater of consequence goes to jail.Skjellyfetti wrote: ↑Wed May 20, 2020 3:31 am And, y'all are have been pushing Obamagate the whole time. Let's see how it turns out. I believe you thought it could end up with more indictments than Mueller's?
So, that would mean both angles are nothingburgers?SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Wed May 20, 2020 5:12 am Oh I'm pushing it, but still stand by my original prediction. No Russian collusion and no Deep Stater of consequence goes to jail.

Yes, more of the latter, only because we see how government protects itself. Do you know who James Wolfe is? Perfect example. He texted the whole Carter Page FISA application to his "girlfriend" reporter at the NYT. He threatened to call in the whole SSCI into his trial and then suddenly, his charges were reduced WAY down. Why, because someone on the SSCI gave him the green light. They protect their own.Skjellyfetti wrote: ↑Wed May 20, 2020 6:01 amSo, that would mean both angles are nothingburgers?SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Wed May 20, 2020 5:12 am Oh I'm pushing it, but still stand by my original prediction. Or the Collusion is a nothingburger because no one was specifically charged with conspiracy with Russia to influence the election. But, Obamagate will be legit with just malfeasance and no grand indictable conspiracy?
