And yes, I never understood the appeal of Pence outside of the evangelical angle. He couldn't be more obscure. What's with GOP Presidents picking odd ducks from Indiana as their VP's?

Closed my youngest's school this morning as it was just getting started. Aide with confirmed Covid19, and they turned wife away as she was dropping him off.
Not worried for any of my kids, especially that youngest, but this does prevent me from taking them to see Grandma. Grandma is still fighting lung cancer.

Twister McGee is a force of nature on the field. But, it appears the Viruses got a talking to at halftime and they've taken it to heart. https://www.businessinsider.com/grand-p ... ath-2020-3Carnival crisis grows after another Princess cruise ship goes on lockdown after a former passenger dies from coronavirus
Some passengers on Princess Cruises' Grand Princess ship were told Wednesday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to stay in their rooms before receiving coronavirus screenings, the company said in a statement.
The order came after a passenger on the Grand Princess' prior cruise died Wednesday of COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus.
A second former Grand Princess passenger has also contracted the coronavirus, according to a report from The Miami Herald. Both passengers were reportedly on the Grand Princess from February 11-February 21....
I bet you could get great deals on cruises between now and this Summer...

Honestly I don’t know. I know the malaria dugs have helped to mitigate some illnesses but it isn’t a cure. Im told I was given anti malaria’s in 1985 to help with GBS. It worked.BDKJMU wrote:While not vaccines, are there not anti viral drugs that are effective at mitigating the effects of more than 1 type of virus?

Some people in this area have started stockpiling supplies (including MRE's) due to the virus. I may be wrong, but this seems a bit excessive.

No!! Bastiges are supposed to be watching my little bastards, not sending them home (just kidding).
My wife has begrudgingly stayed home over the years, so this won't be an issue for us, but daycare for many others will be a problem. Now, I believe that the time has come for our district community to make an important shift. All schools in the Northshore School District will be closed beginning Thursday, March 5 for up to 14 days while we continue to monitor the situation and health department recommendations. Today and tomorrow we will communicate plans to transition instruction from classroom to cloud (online learning) beginning Monday, March 9. This decision was made thoughtfully and with the support of a variety of district and community leaders.
