Waiting on my Greg Ward Jr jersey. Won't be sad to see Agholar leave and a practice squad guy be the new slot receiver. Definite upgrade.

I'd like to see both Agholor and Jeffery gone. Between the two of them, one was the leaker. Notice how the locker room came together when they were both gone? You can't put a price on that.

Unfortunately, the "oldest 29 year-old in the NFL" is still under contract through 2021.

Here's a nice article from NJ.com (quickly becoming the better paper than the actual Philly rags) on the challenges for Howie to rebuild the offense for 2020:

The Eagle running game could be amazing if thats what they want to be in 2020

I give Pederson a lot of credit in that regard, especially being an Andy Reid protege.

Dougie sticks to the run. Andy would usually stick with the run until the second series of most games.

Well, JP is likely gone - can't imagine the Eagles paying him for another year especially when Dillard is already in the wings and get step in at LT and you just paid Lane money on the other side of the line (Brooks as well). Kelce isn't getting any younger and I don't think they've found someone who can replace him yet. But on the whole the line is in real good shape and should be a strength.

I kid about Ward but he's a very viable and cheap slot receiver. Don't know what to do about Jeffrey - maybe Agholor was the real malcontent. Problem is Jeffrey is likely to start next year on the IR anyway - people are saying he's at least 9 months out with his injury, and it's a foot injury and you wonder if he'll ever be well enough to play again. You may have to just cut him and take the cap hit. Same issue with Desean Jackson - is he ever going to be well enough to play again? Even if Arcega-Whiteside can be an NFL receiver, he's never going to be a burner so you need another receiver to play alongside him who is and you don't have that right now.

Just as in the past, you need DB and WR in the draft (and an OL can never hurt) and Howie's record in drafting those positions isn't really that distinguished.

On the bright side, Dougie P is a pretty darn good coach and I'm happy with Carson going forward.

Here's my offer as a Redskins fan:
You get the #2 pick for your 1st round pick and Dallas Goedert.

Would you take it?

They can get him in the 4th round if they want to be stupid.

Wait. I'll spice up the offer.
You get the #2 pick and Josh Norman for your 1st round pick, 2nd round pick, and Dallas Goedert.

They can solve the need for both WR and DB.

I'd do Goedert and our 1st for this year's and next year's Redskins 1st's. That's about the only Goedert deal that would make remote sense.

As they say in New York, Josh Norman is "hot gobbage". His career is over.

Wow. You learn more about the Eagles watching the first three minutes of Philly evening news than you do watching ESPN all day:

1. Malcolm Jenkins went on record with Philly writers at the locker room cleanout that he won't return next year on his current deal.
2. Carson Wentz doesn't remember the first quarter of the game.

I think Cid said he could make it. I'll try to be there myself if it happens. Ursus might be persuaded.

No. The shitty production the last two seasons were.

I'd also argue that Walch took the hit for the leaker as well.
