Maxwell was reading a book called “The Book of Honor: The Secret Lives and Deaths of CIA Operatives” and seemed resigned to having her picture snapped, the source said.

JohnStOnge wrote:If we want to start a conspiracy theory about someone having Epstein killed to keep things from coming out we could play off the alleged incident described by the following statement in the article at https://www.vox.com/2019/7/9/20686347/j ... ll-clinton:

There's an immediately subsequent statement that journalists who investigated voiced caution and even downright skepticism. But it's still pretty good conspiracy fodder.

BTW, the media's approach to the potential story is an illustration of the fact that they do not just irresponsibly jump on salacious stories without making an effort to examine the basis. There's a discussion of why we didn't hear much in the media about the allegation at https://www.huffpost.com/entry/donald-t ... -L9bDWunPd.

Nevertheless, there is an anonymous woman out there who claims Trump raped her at one of Epstein's parties. Better basis for a conspiracy theory there than anything having to do with Clinton.
Until you look at the laundry list of Clinton associates who have mysteriously killed themselves over the years.
He was also a Trump associate. So, how long is the list of Clinton "associates" that killed themselves? Two including Epstein if we all him a "Clinton Associate?" Are you seriously buying into that crap?

She knows what Epstein knew, even if she wasn't present for the actual deeds. She's going to get her ass handed to her in civil court, even if she doesn't get frog walked to criminal court. But I doubt she's going to be able to dish any dirt on other VIPs

Standby by for some reason and common sense here -

The people that are being forgotten in all of this are the victims. It doesn't matter if Bill Clinton or Donald Trump personally defiled 15 year old girls in the Epstein Caribbean Rape Palace... Epstein isn't the keyholder to a successful expose on that. The victims are. Some of them are coming out, and all they are saying is that Epstein himself abused them. Now that the coffers are exposed and open, all of these women are going to come forward for their piece of the pie.

And some will come forward who were never molested. AND - I give 50/50 odds that more than one of them will say they were drugged, and then molested by someone who, through the haze, looked like <Bill Clinton/Donald Trump/Saudi King/British Prince/insert celeb here>

Now, if any known victims start turning up dead... or they find a mass grave offshore of Epstein's Fantasy Island, then that will change the calculus a bit.

But for now, all signs (for me) point to business as usual at the jail in Manhattan (the only unusual thing about his death is the amount of attention it is getting from the Justice Department), and a rich pedo who used his influence and money to skirt justice. I do not think he was murdered (yet) and I do not think VIPs were flocking to him to have sex with minors... at least not Clinton or Trump or anyone currently on the speculation radar.

The REAL scandal here is going to be with local law enforcement that was paid off by Epstein during his escapades. And a Federal prosecutor who is now a cabinet secretary may find himself in some hot water, as well.

They've named more than just Epstein.

~300 pages of court documents were released shortly before Epstein hung himself. Deposition by Virginia Giuffre for one.

Dershowitz and Prince Andrew come out the worst in that.

More will be released

He's not cabinet secretary anymore. But, I'm a little curious why he was made Secretary of Labor in the first place. :suspicious:

That’s fine and good -

The point is that Epstein’s crimes (and others) don’t just die with him. The victims are ostensibly still out there. My larger point being that killing Epstein makes little sense except to conspiracy theorists.

I'm guessing that the fact that he died caused more sphincter-lock than anything. People in his business have to have some kind of protection

I saw that number somewhere else. It's interesting but is it really 56? I haven't searched for a list of Clinton dead. I thought it was just Vince Foster and Seth Rich.
