Since its the most accurate poll in FCS any real football fan would care... regardless of the feelings some may have towards AGS....MarkCCU wrote:Does anyone care? What about he CS Poll?

Re: AGS Preseason Poll
Doesn't look very accurate with the way UCA and Cal Poly are ranked.
So what if this poll is posted here. The CS.com poll will get posted over there.

My comment goes from track record.... It maybe unlikely, but those two teams could very well end up right around there come seasons end.slycat wrote:Doesn't look very accurate with the way UCA and Cal Poly are ranked.

Everyone who cares knows that AGS has a poll and can go there to see it. I think you are just stirring the pot by posting the AGS poll here.UNHWildCats wrote:Since its the most accurate poll in FCS any real football fan would care... regardless of the feelings some may have towards AGS....MarkCCU wrote:Does anyone care? It is ok - posting this is fine - we are a good enough site we don't have to delete any mention of another site

Re: AGS Preseason Poll
I see no problem with it being here. Maybe Travis is stirring the pot but I don't go over there too much and I do like most of the posters over there so since this is there work/opinions I'm glad to see it. I agree that preseason polls don't mean diddly but it is something to drive discussion which is Ok in my book. I don't mind if people know that they can get the information they want here and save a trip during the day.

As I said... AGS has a nationally recognized poll, a poll the NCAA even recognizes on its website... I hope the forthcoming CS.com poll ends up at the same level as the AGS poll, and when it is released I will post it on AGS.

Travis, I'm not saying you are. I'm saying even if that was your intent it doesn't matter to most of us anyway. I don't see it as that, I'm glad you posted it here. I see you as an independent and trying to bring the information to others.UNHWildCats wrote:I aint stirring the pot.... I like this place.... I have no reason to come here and cause trouble.Ursus A. To me, preseason polls are like wiping before you poop, it just doesn't make sense.

Re: AGS Preseason Poll
Posting the poll here and getting people to talk about it isn't a bad thing. Great conversation and good fun is what makes this site great. Let's talk about this poll and the pro's and con's of where various teams are ranked until we have our own poll to discuss.UNHWildCats wrote:I aint stirring the pot.... I like this place.... I didn't vote in the AGS poll, therefore its validity is questionable.

Re: AGS Preseason Poll
This poll is far more realistic than the Sporting News poll. I think it's right on.

I don't think it's appropriate for the AGS poll to be posted here. I am in the minority on that issue, as most people seem to approve of it. I can accept that, now lets move on.
