Liberty @ Charleston Southern

CSU is leading the Big South - and has wrapped up the Auto-bid. Liberty is trying to keep playoff hopes alive.

I don't see a 3rd Big South getting in at 7-4. Sure LU would have 3 good wins (Montana if they make playoffs), CSU & CCU. But they would have 3 bad losses. In addition to the I-A loss they've lost to THREE teams that are currently 3-6. Yeah SIU is MVFC, but they're also likely to end up 3-8. Monmouth & GWebb likely end up 4-7/5-6...

It would be a long-shot, and would be needing other bubble teams to lose, but a faint hope none-the-less :)

IF it's possible for a 3rd Big South school to get in at 7-4, given those wins and recent history, it's Liberty. BUT...you are likely correct. The Big South only got two bids last year due to extreme circumstances. They're likely to get two this year only because the rest of the country is doing so poorly. But three? The Big South isn't the Big Sky or the MVFC. Not very likely. My Flames done messed up, and it's time to pay the piper. Liberty isn't going to the playoffs until after CCU commits FCS treason....
