I really don’t follow the NFL but I thought I remember seeing the Eagles had the best record in the NFL at 10-1. Then I see they got destroyed in the playoff @ Tampa and finished 11-7. WTF

Roger Goodell has ruined football with his stupid rule changes. What would YOU guys say about changing everything back and THEN improving safety by reverting to one-platoon football? Can you imagine a quarterback head-hunting a receiver while playing defense? NOT going to happen. You get guys playing both ways again, the safety factor will even out....

Shady Brady was the biggest beneficiary of the rules changes that are in the NFL and recently he talked about this on the Stephen A.Smith podcast.He said that QB play has suffered and he said that defensive players are handcuffed by the rules changes but he never talked about it when he played.

The only NFL games I've been to were at the old Tiger Stadium in Detroit on a couple of Thanksgiving's as a kid. I've followed them since. Some great players on bad to mediocre teams mostly. Trying to become a believer again this year has been a challenge. But they seem to finally have the right combination of coach and gm now. It's been fun.
