Not what I'm saying at all. What I AM saying is that a basic triple option play should have been part of the main scheme to begin with. They have the zone read option, so it shouldn't be all that hard to install the triple. Heck, the 49ers even have a fullback, so they wouldn't have to do anything weird like move a TE back there. And they can run riffs off of that once a week or something like that. I know from experience that you should NEVER try to install anything new at halftime. (I may have mentioned the disaster that happened when I tried to install the NUT stunt at halftime of a HS JV game.) But had they been practicing this all season long, they wouldn't have been thrown for a loop when all of a sudden the chicken wing is gone....

It doesn't end. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Cincinnati RB Joe Mixon for pointing a gun at a woman. He allegedly said something like, "You should be popped in the face, I should shoot you, the police [can't] get me." Mixon has priors while playing at Oklahoma.
