...for MLB to sign a guy to a AAA deal with a camp invite, and then almost immediately send him to AA?
It looks like the D'backs just did that to my favorite active player. After rescuing Dan Straily from the KBO last week, they assigned him to Reno (AAA West). But a look at the Reno website shows that he has since been sent down to AA Amarillo. And whoever heard of a mascot called the Sod Poodles? SMH....
