Yes that was a horrible call against the Cards on defense that was not a horse collar!!!!!
It wasn't called, not a penalty.

Wentz was trying to avoid a sack but that turned into another nightmare obviously.

Obviously throwing it away would have been preferred but was it better than a safety? The pick 6 gives them the ball back with a chance to tie. A safety followed by a free kick gives the Titans the ability to run the clock down and force the Colts to burn timeouts.

And it was classic Wentz.

I'm sure that's what Wentz was thinking in his head when he tossed the ball forward with his non-throwing hand. He was just playing chess while the Titans were playing checkers. Probably the same kind of higher level thinking when he grossly underthrew the Colts receiver at the goal line and drew that pass interference to set up the TD that tied the game and led to OT. Not sure what chess move he was thinking when he forced that pass into triple coverage in OT to set up the Titans winning FG in OT.

It was indeed just classic Wentz.

Eagles fans love it. Took all the snaps and improved the draft pick the Eagles get next year. Dude's a rock star. I think he even referred to himself as a "gunslinger" in the post game presser. Too funny.

Wentz may want to donate that brain to science when his watch has ended. Poor feller has taken a lot of blows to that noggin, and it shows.

I'm not giving Wentz credit for being that aware of the situation. If what happened was better than a safety it was luck pure and simple.

The anti-Dallas officiating was horrible last night. Even the rules analyst thought so. That roughing the passer wasn't, and they flagged a defender for a late hit after the whistle on a ruled forward progress in an area where no whistle could be heard by ANYBODY, only to later let a clear late hit out of bounds go uncalled. SMH....

I hate Dallas and I thought there were some bad calls that went against them. I thought about trolling the Vikings fans I know who complain about the Packers always getting the calls.

Who holds the NFL record for most career passing yards and most TD passes for a quarterback who has never appeared in a post-season game?

I’ll wait. :coffee:

You better not be aiming at Danny White, Ivy. Per Pro Football Reference, White played in 18 playoff games (including a pair of Super Bowls) and started ten.

Think I figured out who it is based on looking at a most TDs list but will let someone who didn't "cheat" answer this.

If who I think it is, from speaking to people who have run into him, he's a good fun guy. (But guess you don't want him on your team because you won't make the playoffs - or at least he won't play in one)

SuperHornet wrote: Fri Oct 29, 2021 11:33 am A pic of Rodgers after drawing a roughing the passer call on a TD pass has pretty much broken the Internet. Before I saw what they were talking about, I thought it was his request for a horse-collar call on a previous sack. (He was right about THAT one, too, but the zebras blew it.)

Dude, it wasn't even close to a horse collar - the Cardinals defender had him by the numbers, which is 100% legal.

Which is legal. HORSE COLLAR means the COLLAR. Not Horse Chest or back.

Henry Ruggs III proves that Corvettes are safer than RAV-4's.

I want to see some pre-accident pictures of the female passenger he was with at 3:40 am on a Tuesday just off the Vegas Strip. She may have had an extra set of bags protecting her.
