WFA Season to Start in a Couple of Weeks

Post by SuperHornet »

The Championship Games will be held at Tom Benson Stadium in Canton, OH, the home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, 23-24 JUL. By necessity, these games involve cross-divisional play, so some of the scores may be a tad lopsided. The WFA is maintaining three divisions, and the playoffs will be structured like that, providing for three national championship games in Canton this summer. The regular season starts 01 MAY, and will conclude 19 JUN. Some games this year may be televised on For the Fan and Eleven Sports, with some games getting shunted to Xbox One and Apple TV.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
